Indian Desi Market

Desi Market opened up! Hooray!! I went in to check it out and found a wall of coolers full of Indian food and multiple isles filled with nice looking Indian groceries. The guy at the counter made me feel right at home and left me to slowly look at every isle.
I got yummy layered mango jelly candy, coffee flavored cookies (great value) and a bag of crispy filled rounds. Each was unique and really good, and reasonably priced!
Next time I'll be looking for some frozen Parantha Aloo, flatbread with potato stuff inside. I know it's within those coolers!

This store is a decent one and well organized. The items are very well arranged and the store is specious. The owner is very friendly. The vegetables are very stored.

New Owners, great service and variety of Indian groceries at reasonable price. Better than some other Indian grocery stores in Milwaukee area.

Amazing selection and service that goes above and beyond! My favorite place to buy my spices and condiments so I have them all year. When I'm in Milwaukee I always make sure to stop in.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised by the place. Clean, spacious and most of all the prices were marked! It had a good variety of items, majority of what we needed. Wish they carried more Sri Lankan items like the store in Brookfield we used to go to, but we liked this store a whole lot better. Found our new go to store, although it's a drive.

The owners are exceptionally kind and patient. A real family atmosphere. If you are unfamiliar with Indian ingredients, just tell them what dish you are making, and they will explain everything. They have a great selection of fresh vegetables, spices, and dry goods. Nice location with plenty of parking.

Went to look for a hard to find ingredient. First time at this store. Only about 2 years old in a relatively nice older neighborhood. Good parking. Store is clean and organized. Shelves are well stocked. Fresh produce looked good. Owner was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Very pleasant experience. Recommend if you've never gone to an Indian store before.

I had no idea this wonderful store existed. They offer you fresh produce canned items frozen items dried items you can find almost any kind of bean or pea. They have spice’s that are extremely difficult to find even online and at very reasonable prices. I am able to find most of my oddities, that normally, I can only find at very expensive spice shops.

I would highly recommend this store to beginners in cooking, because of the prices also because of the many different things you could never find, at a common chain store. Just going into the stores is fun, because of all of the different items one is able to see, smell and explore.The kids just love looking at everything and all the different candies definitely not normal, for candies, cookies, you find at the other grocery stores.

It excites me that I am actually able, to write a review about the store and how wonderful the people there treat you. They help you find anything you’re looking for and if they don’t have it they are willing to see if they can get it for you. What a gem to have in our neighborhood!

Incredibly helpful and supportive staff. Good quality of packed items and fresh produce.

We ordered for Home delivery and staff called us and went through each item and provided option in case requested brand was not available.

We were hesitant to order Indian produce as we were unsure of the quality, but were delighted to see the quality of produce that was delivered to our home, couldn't have asked for better produce.

Great store. Well organized and easy to shop. Employees are super helpful. Honestly the best Indian Grocery in the city.

Price wise also good. Guy who works there is very helpful and humble.

I bought an Expired product just like a month old it was a cheese block simple mistake I should've read the label.... oh well I will still do some of my grocery shopping here for select items that other stores don't offer, they have things that you would not find in the bigger brand name grocery stores....I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and will be returning just to visit the employees, they are wonderful

Always changes management and new management looks better than earlier ones. They are trying accommodate more varieties.

Struggling to keep fresh garlic and ginger in the house for cooking during Safer-at-Home? Try using an Indian garlic-ginger paste for your stir fries, curries, and Thai soups. The jar will keep for weeks in your fridge if you always use a clean spoon to scoop! And, they have a huge variety of dried beans and spices, too.

Nice store. You can order online through forms and pickup or delivery to some places ( need to call them and check) with nominal delivery fee. If the site not working you can whatsapp them. They are very kind and response to all your questions. Product quality also good

They always have what we need and they have quite a few organic options. The place was very organized in the beginning, but month by month it's getting more disorganized, more boxes around without a proper place. We hope it can get a little better, but we like shopping here anyway :)
