Up through 2014, my wife and I were financially secure and were making quite a good income together when things went bad quickly. In 2013, we had made an agreement with the IRS to reimburse them at the rate of about $ 5,200.00 a month for back taxes and we were making the payments timely each month.
In early 2014, the company that I was doing work for, decided to sell their company and drop all of their independent contractors. That was a 150K drop in salary for us.
My wife was in an Executive Management Position for a large company in Atlanta and was making in the low 100’s with all medical, dental and life insurance paid by her employer. In mid-November of 2015, after a merger with a International company, my wife’s employer decided to let go of all of their upper management and input their own people and hence my wife was out of a job that she had worked hard on for many years. We have taken this situation quite hard but with Edwin’s help, we have gotten through this ordeal and are living a more quiet and peaceful life now.
