Froedtert Hospital

Excellent hospital. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were here on the 8th floor, which requires being put on a list in order to visit your family member. Unfortunately, only 4 members are authorized to be on that list. Only two at a time. It made visiting very difficult but doable. This has been the most strict hospital when it comes to visiting hours. 8am-8pm period! Always keep in mind that you need to stand in line to receive a badge, so factor in 15-30 minutes before you're expected.

My wife was in the Neuro ICU and main floor for nearly 4 weeks. The care for her by all the staff was stellar. They made us feel like they were part of our family, asking about our children, and other things in our everyday life ( on top of caring for my wife's severe medical needs). I feel the only reason my wife's recovery is going so well is because of the initial care given here. Bravissimo Froedtert!

This is a great hospital for trauma Adults. They hope every direction. I think you guys should put a mental Health In freighter And children's Wisconsin Inpatient Psychiatry Mental health. For more choices for children And adults. You guys are great with Surgeries. I think you guys should put more Parking For freighter Hospital And children's wisconsin. I think you guys should put a childrens Hospital for in waukesha wisconsin. And freighter.

The nurses and doctors I have dealt with have been wonderful. They are good listeners and good communicators and show true compassion and concern.

Always a great hospital. People always willing to help you find where you need to go. Helpful and friendly staff. Awesome Drs. Nurses aides, Nurses, cleaning people. Security. Everyone. Pleased with everything.

My brother came in there with a life threatening heart attack and was in serious condition. With the help of this wonderful and passionate nursing staff he is well on his way to recovery. Everyday he received such wonderful and caring attention and was pushed every day in a positive way. I would really like to just take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and I believe that with out the care he received from this amazing staff of health care workers he would not be where he is today . So again THANK YOU !!!

It just occurred to me that after years of going to Froedtert, I’ve never taken the time to write a review. My review is for the Neurology Department and the Infusion Department. 5/5 stars for both.

I’ve received nothing but the best treatment. The doctors treat me with dignity and respect. I spend sufficient/quality time with my doctors. Scheduling was an issue a couple times when all of my appointments disappeared off the calendar but it was quickly resolved so I have no complaints…. When I have concerns or need something, the team of nurses answer within 24 hours and they do so with kindness. I have great appreciation for the nurses in the neurology department. They are amazing!!! The infusion dept is welcoming, kind and relaxing considering I have been there in severe pain. The nurses are so sweet and I cannot thank them enough for what they do.

One thing I love about Froedtert is MyChart. It is user friendly, accurate and a great option for individuals who need virtual visits. This has been life changing for me.

Went to Froedtert for kidney stone surgery. Operation was successful. During recovery, staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. Questions I asked over the following days via MyChart were always answered promptly.

The surgical team led by Dr. Mitch Dyer, vascular surgeon, was outstanding. He is excellent at communicating with the patient and family members. The case was complicated and both Dr. Dyer , his nurse practitioner, Laura, and the rest of the team kept us well informed. The team responded quickly to new challenges as they arose. The staff in the surgical ICU were also very responsive. We highly recommend Froedtert Hospital.

I just realized I never sat down to make a proper review of this place. but I will now.

firstly, the staff is so compassionate and caring towards their patients. especially whenever I'd talk about my condition upon being asked why I was there. they'd engage, ask questions, look me in the eyes and every word that came out of their mouth was genuine when it came to agreeing with me and including me in options available for my care. they never once interrupted me, downplayed me, or ignored me. nor were they ever ignorant / insensitive to my problems. they were always so understanding.

second, I'm quite hard to treat. whether it be a normal appt or an er visit bc of my chronic GI condition. I have severe PTSD from hospitals growing up, but these people have always assured me and tried to calm me down from my panicked state of mind. never forcefully, always so gently and openly. they've always explained everything they were doing for treatment thoroughly, and allowed me to follow the process of every step of the process. from my first IV to my first surgical procedure coming up.

the nurses, drs, and everyone is just so patient and nice to you. at least in my expirence, I had to go to speciality clinics to drop off something and so many people on the way to their shift that morning waved and or said hello / good morning. and the first time I was in the er here the nurses I had joked around with me about forgetting my dad's birthday when they asked for family history reasons, and genuinely talked to me about things other than medical issues that made both parties feel better.

truly the only hospital I will probably ever feel comfortable at. thank you :)

The Dr.'s and nurses I had were the Best in the world!!! They saved my life! I spent 2 months with them last Christmas. I came down with covid and wound up getting a triple lung infection no one expected me to live. the doctor's and nurses made sure that my family could be with me talk to me with face time or some online app. and a special thanks to Jenny and Becky for always being there and doing everything they could to make me feel safe and loved! God bless all of you! There is not a day that goes by that i dont think of you!

I just had open heart surgery on 9/28/23 at Froedtert Hospital and tge care, more specifically the nursing care was exceptional and for this I thank all of them.

Excellent care, professionalism, and empathy for patient. My husband recently was a patient at Froedtert. The doctors, SICU nurses, and Palliative Care staff were extremely professional and caring. The family felt that my husband, their father had excellent care during his stay at the hospital.

I was a patient there back in September and was there until the middle of October. I was located on 2nt and I will say the level of care I had was amazing. Between the nurses and the surgeons that worked tirelessly to literally put me back together both mentally and physical I could not be more grateful. I just wish there was a way I could go back there and thank them but being it was a unit that was secured by a locked door and security idk if thats possible. Any advice would be appreciated on how to go about this.

The Froedtert cancer center is excellent. My son has been a cancer patient now for two years. His doctor is rare find. He is kind, patient, helpful, understanding, and shows empathy. Actually his entire 4th floor staff is the absolute best. Now on the other hand the 3rd floor receptionists for the day hospital are rude, no compassion for people suffering. If they don't like their jobs find someplace else to work.

I've always been treated amazing by the doctors, nurses, and staff. The doctors are very caring. They actually listen and want to figure out how to help me which is important to me. I have a chronic condition that my medical team has helped me get somewhat under control, at least better controlled than it was before. I've had two open surgeries performed at this hospital, and the surgeons were great. They explained everything to me in ways that made sense. They were highly skilled and scarring was minimal. While healing in the hospital after surgery, my nurses were very attentive and caring. They helped keep my pain at a minimal level and made sure I was comfortable. Best post op care I've ever had.

I have used Froedtert for all of my health care needs since birth. I appreciate their professional staff in the imaging department (xray, CT, & MRI), their family care team, derm team, gynecological team, their breast care team, surgical team, and plastics team. They are always eager to help with scheduling, billing, and the physicians/nurses are patient and truly take your concerns seriously. When misunderstandings occurr, just tell them, they're always happy to help or find you someone who will. I have decided to stay in the area solely for this hospital. Would recommend.

I visited a family member post-surgery last week.
I was very impressed with the level of security and health screening that the hospital has in place to protect its patients and staff. While a little time-consuming and inconvenient, this is very much needed and appreciated as a family member and fellow healthcare worker. The parking garage and front desk staff made this process very efficient and pleasant.

The building itself is well-designed. It's reasonably easy to navigate from parking to patient floors. The added touches (business cards for parking garage levels), FREE PARKING, visitor lounge with convenient bathrooms, and more are very much appreciated.
The patient rooms are large, clean, and comfortable.

The staff could not have been nicer. The floor HUC welcomed us at every visit. The nurses, CNAs, and physical therapists made sure that my family member had everything she needed before they left her room (even if she wasn't their patient!). I can't remember the name of the nurse who advocated to change her pain management, but adding a muscle relaxer to her treatment plan made her so much more comfortable then and continues to be a game-changer.
The doctors, from the hospitalists to her surgeon Dr. Wang, were fabulous. She was kept informed of everything; the surgery outcome, treatment plan, test results, and more.
She was only discharged when all aspects of her medical condition had stabilized, which was 2 days longer than originally anticipated. This has set her up for a successful, uneventful recovery.

While no one wants their family members to require hospitalization, it's a great comfort that the Froedtert staff provide such amazing care to their patients.

I have NEVER seen such great care. This includes my family as well as me.
