One of the coolest cemeteries I have ever been to, but also in the worst condition I've ever seen. Lots of interesting things to see. I want to go back soon.

I gave it a 1 because there wasn't anything under that. You can't even visit your loved ones because of the neglect of the up keep. If I had known then what I know now of this site my father would never had gone here. They should refund everyone who have paid to put their loved ones here.

I just watched a YouTube video taken in April 2022. Folks I shed tears seeing how this cemetery has been let get in such shape. It is a perpetual care cemetery according to the sign which means it is supposed to have be in very good condition from families paying for continued grounds work. I truly hope it is repaired soon.

I also watched the April 26/22 youtube video by #urban explorations and I couldn't believe what I was watching!!
This is suppose to be a Nationally recognized African American burial site.
The Graves are exposed, tombs broken open and the weeds and grass overgrown.
It's on a main street and borders on residential homes.
If the town doesn't have the $$ to fix this place up why in the world doesn't the government step in.
If I lived there I would gather up some volunteers and take a few weekends and get this place in shape.

This cemetery is in a disgraceful state of disrepair, for example broken graves & exposed coffins which is so disrespectful to the people buried here in this cemetery & to their families that have to see this state of disrepair of their loved ones final resting place. the overgrown state of the grass & weeds is absolutely disgraceful & disrespectful, something should be done to raise funds to fix these broken & exposed graves & coffins. How upsetting for the families of these loved ones to see the devastation & lack of care of these graves from whoever owns this cemetery, you should be absolutely ashamed of how this cemetery has been left to wrack & ruin. Here in the UK where i live our cemeterys are taken good care of
