Damn, what a spot. For game day there is no better place than right here at Fred's. What a great time. The bartender Mathew took awesome care of us and he ran the bar like a boss. How can it get any better when the big man himself is on the grill cooking all the steaks and his wife is keeping it straight on when you get your food. Great times and look forward to going back every time on game day.

If you enjoy worrying about if the woman you're looking at is underage, go here!

Seriously Fred's has been a staple in Tigerland forever. Just wear your Kevlar and realize you're the oldest person there.

Place to go for after football games!! I will say, it is quite a walk from the stadium, so be prepared for that. Lot of people and great vibes!!

Absolutely outstanding experience. Came up for the LSU WS Championship game (which they won go 🐅 🐯). Atmosphere was fantastic with a great student culture. Really impressed by both Peyton’s outstanding bar-backing and Morgan’s amazing bartending. They both definitely held down a very, very busy fort. Will be back!

Kinda rowdy on the patio. Good bar but the music wasn't exactly great.

College place that does college things and that's good business for them. They make alot doing their thing and I wont judge them for that. Fred's has a specific type call and it works. But if you're looking for a quite place just steer clear from Tigerland all together and choose a downtown bar or one of the other bars in town. Still college people go and have a good time

Ah Fred's..'The Moose Lodge'.. 'The Poonani Palace". There is a lot to be said about this oasis of Baton Rouge. Everything from the employees to the drinks and even the memorabilia on the walls exude a certain level of both excellence and debauchery.
Let me paint you a picture of just how magical Fred's can truly be. Flashback to December 2011, a freshly turned 21 year old (me) down in the dumps balancing school and a frivolous love life searching for how to spend my Friday night. I took the night bus from campus into the "land" and in the distance like some kind of mirage was this red building with a large horned beast on the front. Drawn in by curiosity i hopped off the bus and made my way inside. Just as i crossed the threshold something beautiful happened...
PARTY ROCK ANTHEM was blaring through the speakers. A honey hole of exotic and beautiful women dancing the night away. Bartenders greeting me with smiles waiting to take my order. This was it.. A paradise on earth. So next time you wonder where to spend your night and your money. Go to Fred's. You won't regret it.

Incredible memories over there when I was a student. Even if I got kicked out a few times, it was definitely worth it. Thanks Fred, you helped me become the man I am today (unemployed)

No one knows the true beauty of Fred's and they never will until you get to know the people that run Fred's. I will always remember, mostly remember, my time at LSU and and being at Fred's with friends. Game day steaks on Saturdays are a MUST! Geaux Tigers

Best bar in tigerland by a landslide. There’s always people no matter what day of the week and it’s a great atmosphere. Awesome music and drinks. It’s overall a great bar.

Paying a cover every time? Ridiculously expensive drinks? People wanting to fight everywhere i turn? I'm home.
