I am seeing a lot of negative reviews on Food City Pharmacy staff at this location, and I want to add another. CVS sent me to this pharmacy because they were out of needles with syringe. Needles are needled to dispense so many legitimate medications, but even when I had the prescription to show, the pharmacist Clint was VERY RUDE and laughed at me while he denied me service. When I was growing up, the theory was not to hoard needles because even drug addicts need clean needles, but Clint, the long time pharmacist at Food City Pharmacy, would rather that disabled veterans take their legitimate medications through a reused needle!

Really disappointed in the pharmacy's lack of professional communication. I am having major neurosurgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, 11/7/23. Through the work up and planning process, everything has gone well until this pharmacy got involved. On 10/11/23 two RXs were sent from my surgeons office, electronically using the DEA's standardized algorithm, so that I could pick them up before surgery. Today I called to check that I could get them today, I was told they won't fill the RXs because they are from "Atlanta". I asked Clint why they could not have notified me that they would not fill the RXs? I was told they have been too busy to follow up and inform me of their policy; that is 22 days of being too busy. Having been an NP for 37 years, I know how things operate professionally. The response I got shows a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, and is an unacceptable excuse by a health care provider to a patient.

The staff definitely needs to be retrained on customer service, and professionalism. Whoever the gentleman, and lady was working there today 01/27/24 was VERY unprofessional, and rude!

My experience with the pharmacy staff was terrible. The whole team there needs a communication class. I was denied getting my prescription filled because the pharmacist didn't read it right also my father was gave the wrong medicine last month !!!! I will not ever get anything filled there again and neither will my family. I was told by the staff I had to only use food city for my medication. I just left the ER and I really needed my medicine the doctor prescribed me. The staff was hateful and I highly recommend them picking up a new attitude at Walmart because of the way they treat customers
