Love this gym! Always feels like home. Nice and clean environment with accommodations in the restroom which are nice. The management is awesome and very passionate about her work. She always goes above and beyond. I love that they offer classes as well.

I did the mini personal training sessions with Melissa and loved it. She is very knowledgeable and has a great teaching/coaching techniques- very effective for any level of fitness.

The gym has a great atmosphere and I feel safe regardless of the time I go.

I've been going to the Snap Fitness Plaquemine location for more than a decade now. I can confidently say that the current management is the best the location has ever had. Broken equipment gets fixed or replaced promptly. A week or so ago, the main door handle was broken (it had to be pushed up instead of down to allow anyone to exit from the inside). This was fixed a week later. The big pothole in the driveway ramp entry which lingered there for YEARS was finally fixed. There is a brand new vending machine with fully stocked drinks. When staff aren't around, they still communicate with the gym patrons via little post-it notes outside of doors and on the wall. The notes will contain info pertinent to the gym, like upcoming classes or ETA's on equipment being fixed.

The management before the current management was horrible and I thought the gym was doomed. Seeing things uplifted like this is a pleasant surprise.

My only two minor complaints (which I won't dock a star for) are that some gym members continuously do not return plates, dumbbells and various other equipment after they are done using them. In my opinion gym members found to be doing this repeatedly after being warned should be terminated faster so that the rest of us aren't constantly being tasked with picking up their mess behind them.

And the gym can get pretty hot. It's usually not bad in the middle of the night or when it's mostly vacant, but in the daytime with a crowd, I don't think the current temperature is low enough.

That said, these two things have been forever-issues at this gym, and I must give credit where it's due on all the other fronts I mentioned.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff. Friendly and non judgemental. All the equipment worked as it should and was clean. This is an environment that you go to and focus on making your body better and stronger.

Since transferring to new ownership under Melissa Hebert, this gym has really improved. The layout of equipment makes much more sense, weights are picked up, the gym is regularly cleaned, the paint and wall damage has been repaired, new replacement padding added to heavy used equipment, etc. I’m glad to see it taken care of again!!

Love my gym and the people in it! Melissa keeps the gym clean. 😊 Melissa and Shae offer great classes, encouragement and nutritional advice. They listen to feedback and work to accommodate suggestions as much as possible.

I trained with Melissa for about two months. She was kind, patient, understanding, and also good at her job. Her words of support gave me the courage I needed to complete my training. After just two month, I'm happy with how far I've come with my weight loss journey and sure if I follow what she taught me I will reach my goal. Facility was always clean.

The gym is extremely clean and new management/trainer/coach is outstanding. She has done and is doing major moves for this place. She is so very supportive and passionate about what she does. Highly recommend snap fitness in Plaquemine with Melissa for sure.

The mobility class at Snap on Thursday at 9 am is a fun low intensity workout that’s given me a increased range of motion. Help get rid of those morning aches
For a slightly more intense morning workout join us for functional training at 10 am on Fridays
Light weight workout is great for all ages

Management under Mrs. Hebert has been wonderful. She makes sure that the gym is clean amd everything is neatly placed. She does a good job of sharing promotions as well as classes.
Currently she is my personal trainer and is doing a good job. She is easy to talk too, listens to any concerns you may have, and gives her honest opinion with her experience. If you want a personal trainer that is going to help you reach your goal, keep you motivated, and make the experience comfortable, then you should definitely get Mrs. Hebert as your trainer.

I just started back after taking some time off from being under the weather and holiday madness, and I'm very impressed by the changes being made under new management. It's very clean, the layout had been changed up and makes everything seem more organized and spacious. I highly recommend

Very clean , it smelled awesome and it had an array on cybex machines. Staff was friendly and kind would highly recommend this gym if your looking.

Summer Shred Bootcamp was amazing! It was my second bootcamp this year! I’m always amazed by the workouts Melissa makes us do! I get stronger each and everytime!

For the last two weeks the gym has had a complete makeover! I’m very satisfied with the cleanliness and organization of the gym. I highly recommend the new SNAP Fitness!!!!!

I been with this gym for about 5 years.. it has always been a nice gym .. New management has definitely made alot of great improvements.. even has workout classes several days a week with a fantastic personal trainer...

Very nice and clean! Equipment tutorials are visible and clear! Nice to have stocked clean bathrooms, great place great people great vibes!

Everything seems to be great so far. It's a Very clean gym . I feel so comfortable working out here . The people all seem nice , the equipment is amazing, and I love it being open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
