Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

This Rita's has a new owner and she is so nice! This place is still the same even with new beautiful faces working there. I went in yesterday around 7pm thinking I would be good and get myself a large cup, grab my husband one and a quart BUT someone tempted me! Lol! For some who may not know if you get 3 quarts they are all $15. As you can tell by my pictures I do this often. Lol! I've been coming here for years and I made so many memories and looking forward to making more here. It's also nice to know they still have someone from the old staff working there even though me and her never saw each other before! Lol! But also some of the old crew come back to work over the summer! They also brought tasting back! And remember to get a treat for your fur baby! Come to Rita's in Suwanee!!!!

Most amazing place EVER! The owner is really nice and very responsive. He definitely remembers his customers and doesn't mind you requesting a flavor you want. The staff is new but they are nice. They have Gelato and cookies now! It's great for family or even for a date night. Sometimes they do things for schools which shows this place is really with the community. When COVID-19 hit and the store was close they set up stands in neighborhoods where people can still get their italian ice. Seriously give this place a try. I come on a hard day and even when I am having a great day. You will not regret this. I don't over exaggerate. Lol. You will love this place. Oh yeah! They have a little something for your fur babies!My dog LOVES their vanilla custard. It totally safe for your dog to eat. Stop by now! They open at 12 but make sure you follow them on FB rarely the open times changes.

When in Suwanee, got to grab some Italian Ice!!! We love the Cherry, Mango, Lemon, Root Beer and Coconut Cream Italian Ice. Even though not on menu, you can buy by the gallon if available.

They go over and beyond. I wanted pineapple ice and strawberry ice and they told me to call the day before I wanted to come and they would make it for me. They did and it was delicious. The good thing is there is no minimum purchase required. You can't go wrong going here. Oh and their custard is delicious too.

Staff had been pleasant each time we went. They explained the flavors and were very patient. They had to replace one of our ices because we wanted the flavor in ice cream instead. They replaced it right away with no argument. We will definitely return.

Wow, one of the best butter pecan ice cream I've ever had. It was served on a still warm and soft waffle cone. Tried the lemon Gelato and it was excellent! It was flavorful but not too sweet. Great place and great location.

Great place. Very friendly and polite staff. Ice cream and water ice is always spectacular.

We've only been once but my kids really enjoyed their Italian ice. The staff was patient as my kids took FOREVER to choose a flavor. Great, fun location too.

Rita's is perfect on a hot day. Super friendly staff and great service. Very helpful when you can't quite make up your mind. One of my favorite places to visit in Suwanee.

I had a minor problem with an order, when I reached out to the owner (Barbara), she and her husband went over and beyond the call of duty to make it right. I can't begin to explain the level of kindness, that these owners expressed, they are the true faces of, " great customer service STILL exist "!! If ever you're in the Suwanee area, please give Rita's a try! Thanks again, to the owners, for their stellar service!!

I came here for a midday Valentine’s treat! It was sweet, cold, and tasty!! I’ll definitely be back for more!

Service is good. Ice creams are awesome. Good place to visit especially before the event in the park.

I couldn't be happier seeing a Rita's down here in Georgia. I haven't been to one in over 10+ years. I literally went back two times in a week lol. They have tons of flavors and the Gelatti is fantastic (if you like custard with Italian ice that is). Check it out! As a heads up they are seasonal.

I really enjoy the ice cream here...or should I say custard??? Either way, I like it! Lol
I usually get the waffle cone filled with vanilla custard topped with rainbow sprinkles. Emmm emm....😋 My favorite icee is the Swedish Fish, an sometimes I will get the Gelati which is the best of both worlds!

The service is always friendly and the place is always clean.

Yum! Family always enjoys Rita’s. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. Staff is nice.

Had the frozen custard with a waffle cone. Delicious. It was quite thick and creamy. I know my soft serve and it was a great one.
Kids had Reese mudslide it was good as well. Not convinced to try the ice yet but maybe some day.

Rita’s is always good but this location in particular has been especially enjoyable. The staff have all been extremely friendly and welcoming and don’t seem to mind my kids running around & playing in the store (I only let them do this when there are no other customers in the store).
I wish I could give them a bonus star for carrying the strawberry flavor. Strawberry is hands-down the best Rita’s flavor (in my wife’s and my opinions) but no Rita’s seems to have them. For the first time in three years, I finally got to have my beloved strawberry flavor here!

The overall atmosphere of the place is nice. It’s very clean and the music isn’t crazy or obnoxious. Great family atmosphere with outdoor seating as well - for those who are not okay with eating ice cream in a well air conditioned room.

*If you’re going to give this place a visit, make sure they aren’t closed for the season!

I go here almost every week with my family. They have many icecream, custard and Italian ice flavors! The wait time can sometimes be a bit much but they always apologize!

During the summer my family is here once a week minimum. This is our favorite dessert place! Each worker is so kind and patient, it makes the experience all the more worthwhile. My 3yo loves visiting to see what new flavors await him. I never thought I'd like the cream ice, but it is DELICIOUS! So many wonderful choices. Will miss them during the winter!

The staff is very nice and the italian ice (especially cotton candy) tastes very good and my family enjoys different flavors of custards (orange, chocolate, etc.)
