The Iberville Museum Director gave us a fantastic personal tour…some of the artifacts are in the process of having documentation updated and reorganized…would highly recommend stopping by to see this unique local attraction…

Excellent, enthusiastic guides are the key here, providing context and local color. Features an immersive exhibit on the human development of the Atchafalaya wetlands. Be sure as well to visit the Plaquemine lock house nearby.

I really enjoyed this museum.
It was a small place, but the curator was there personally, and she made an awful lot of what she had to work with. My family spent the morning here and we really got a lot out of the exhibits.

I haven't got a chance to go see what they have in there. but I'm sure they have a lot of old culture and things. cause if you from this state. I have a few antiques and most of us do.im sure you will enjoy it

Under construction and renovation, so the tour was limited. But the Atchafalya display made the visit well worth the free Admission.
