The lady at the front desk (MRS. Donna) is the kindest and most helpful person in the whole world she is my new favorite person, the pool is clean and not cold I would 100/10 recommend

I called to ask some questions and Michelle called me back. She was very polite , professional and helpful. Really really helpful!! I hope they value this employee. Good employees are hard to get now a days.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Also the rooms were quiet.

All right y'all, I really did love this place, it's quiet and peaceful and the staff is really sweet and try their BEST to help you with whatever you need. Will be out Vacation spot from here on out!!

After a day having fun in Helen GA, my daughter, grandkids and myself were looking for a hotel close to goats on a roof as that was the next place we wanted to go. After calling around the area, we ended up talking to Kayla at this location and I have to say, her attitude was so refreshing!! Her friendly demeanor was far and above most other encounters that I have experienced, so much so that we ended up staying a second night because we knew that we were so welcome there!! She is by far the best asset to this hotel and just as an afterthought, this was while they are doing some remodeling!! Theee was another young lady that was super sweet at the front desk but I can’t find where I wrote down her name, so sorry but also the housekeeper was attentive as well! Just a great experience all around!! They even gave some great directions to waterfalls in the area!!

Recent stay at this hotel and very pleased with our stay.
Prior reviews states rude staff, I find this hard to believe from my call arranging my stay, check in, needs during my stay and check out every person i interacted in was anything but rude.
Breakfast is the usual continental, but we have a few favorites breakfast places we like to go to when we are in the area.
The pool area is open in clean , I did not swim in it but went and checked it out.
Our room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy.
Safe location.

Clean, felt very safe and most welcome.
Respectful, pleasant gentleman at front desk.
Drove past other hotels in town to have a peace of mind at Gateway.
A special thank you to, Janice, who took time from her meticulous detailed housekeeping duties to greet us and to have us enjoy one of the many spotless rooms she tends to daily.
We would gladly return and stay here again.

I’ve had so many problems with choice hotels in the recent past so I was reluctant to use this hotel but I’m glad I did. The staff at the front desk was very nice, the lobby was decorated cute and smelled good and the room was way more than I expected. It was clean, smelled clean and was relaxing. I was super surprised and it was a sigh of relief. Other choice hotels should use this as their model. Even the hallways were clean. 10/10 recommend this place!

Very pleased with this hotel. We arrived close to 1am in the morning after leaving another hotel. The manager and his wife were so kind to accommodate us and our two girls with the exact room set up we were hoping for. The rooms are lovely and the view is beautiful. Considering the current world circumstances they have managed to keep the hotel clean and tidy. This experience has been no different than staying in a name brand hotel. We will be visiting again.

Nice clean rooms. Great value. Very polite and friendly staff. Pool was perfect, and it's inside which was a plus. The only bad thing is that my daughter left her pink bear (that she has had since before she was born) in the room in one of the drawers. I talked to Randy over the phone and he has been nothing but helpful. I am beyond grateful for the extra effort he put in to find the bear. We can't thank you enough Randy!! ....but I can try, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

The front desk staff was amazing! The lovely lady at the front desk went out of her way to make sure we were aware of the children's activities locally when we were told the pool was closed. Above and beyond for quality service.

Had a great stay! Wonderful service! Breakfast wasn't the best, no fruit or yogurt heavy on the bread. Rooms were great! Pool area is excellent, even has some pool toys and towels to use! Definitely an improvement from when it was Holiday Inn!

We have stayed here many many times under the previous owner and the current. This is a special place for us. Our place to get away from the rat race and rest and regroup. The new owners have made numerous improvements and while some things have changed we still feel safe and at home when we are here. The staff is very personable and the Manager, Randy, is quick to take of anything that is amiss. Breakfast is a mix of hot and continental and is definitely better than most hotels. We will definitely be back.

Nice clean place overall! Stayed here three times in the last year and been very pleasant every time! People were always nice and helpful! Randy is a Blessing and would highly recommend Gateway Inn and Suites if in Dillard Ga and you want a nice clean, centrally located Hotel! Hot water, clean sheets and medium firm mattress is all I need along with some hospitality! Thank you Randy and the others for making our stay all three times worth the trip!

Excellent hotel and stay. Great jacuzzi tub was clean and keeps the water heated in the tub. Room overall very clean and comfortable. Complete breakfast was hot and fresh. Staff was very accommodating and allowed a later check out. Definitely planning another stay.

Stayed one night for a local festival. All that was left at the time was the King Jacuzzi Suite. It was $160 per night. This place is VERY clean. when arriving, I did a walk through of the room, from the towels to under the bed, etc. The jacuzzi was roughly 8 feet from the bed. The shower and toilet were in the separate bathroom. Included was a counter height fridge, and a microwave. Also this is the first room I've been in that had a separate vanity with mirror and sink. Of course there was a hanging closet, couch with a fold out bed and matching chair.

Before we left we stopped in for the breakfast, more of a buffet style. The food was actually good. I will soon be booking the same hotel for the same festival next year.

Very pleased with my room..I got there before the 3:00 check in but they were able to get me a room. It was clean bed neatly made and the room didn't smell as some I've had at other hotels. I'll def get a room with them again.

I pulled in during a storm, and was a bit concerned as I saw Google had this as a 1 star facility. This is so wrong. It's actually a recently refurbished site, and Choice has done their usual good job of upgrading the rooms & lobby - 4 nice pillows per bed, high thread counts on the sheets, a well managed breakfast area, and very good service. As one that travels for work 200+ nights a year, this is easily a 2 1/2 star. I'll stay there again for sure.

Clean, nice and helpful staff. Room had plenty of towels and smelled fresh. We would return if heading through the area again. Breakfast was better than we thought it would be. Overall we were happy for the price we paid!!!
