The staff was amazing. Our dog was very sick, and we needed to put him down. They were so thoughtful and compassionate and helped us through the hardest thing we've ever had to do! They got us in quickly, didn't make us wait..I highly recommend them for caring for any animal! They truly all have hearts of gold!

The staff always goes above and beyond to make my anxious dog feel better. Very caring and thorough with exams. They always tell me what they’d recommend and explain things very well. In the past other vets wouldn’t be able to get my sick pet in for weeks! Healing paws will always find an appt within a reasonable amount of time. My dogs are my entire life and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with them!

I love Healing Paws! You are always greeted with a smile when walk in the front door. The staff is always friendly and doesn’t make you feel hurried like some other clinics I’ve been to. Dr. Wantuck is so sweet to the animals and does a great job explaining procedures and tests to me. The clinic is so clean and our wait time has always been minimal. My dog Ruby has been going here for a couple of years and I always leave knowing I got the very best care available for her. I really can’t say enough good things about Healing Paws Veterinary Clinic. I highly recommend them for all your pets!

Highly recommend! We’ve been taking our pets to Healing Paws since 2019. Everyone there is very friendly & helpful. Any time we have to go in for a sick or emergency appt, they’re always quick to get us in. They never pressure us with regard to treatment. They offer options and let us know we can start with the lesser treatments they think will help, and if that doesn’t work, we can come back in for the more expensive options if needed. They’re the best!

I wanted to find a good vet for My dog that got good reviews, after reading the good reviews of this place I do recommend it. This is a very good place to take your dog. I took my dog Oakley to the vet today for her paws 🐾 and they helped her and cared about our concerns!! It’s a welll clean environment and friendly people, thank you Healing paws! 🐾

All the staff is incredible. And they make sure you understand all the options so you can make an informed decision about treatment. They even call a week later just to check on your fur baby.

Went here after my then-vet told me they didn’t do dental care for my dog who had broken her tooth, and I never looked back! I’ve been going here for about a year now and ended up switching both of my dogs primary vet to this place. They’re so incredibly kind, they treat your animals like family instead of objects. Everything is so organized, when my dog was spayed I was incredibly worried but they called me and updated me multiple times and took such wonderful care of her. When I got her back I was so surprised at her tiny incision, and how fast she healed and was back to herself. (The pic below is ONE DAY after her procedure!!!) They even called me a few times after her procedure just to check on her.

All in all, I wish I could give them 10 stars. They’re so wonderful, kind, very well informed and caring. Couldn’t ask for better care!

We have used Healing paws for over 10 years for the care of our dog. The doctors and staff are great and care deeply about their patients. They even made a life-saving referral to the MU vet clinic early in his life. Take your pet here and you will be glad you did!

I needed to get my dogs vaccines done asap, and my usual vet was booked out two weeks- as were most places that I called.. I called healing paws and everyone was so nice! They got us in same day, and were much more affordable than the other places I called. We have been looking for a new vet bc ours is always booked out so far and I think we found it! Everyone was kind, welcoming and made us feel very comfortable! Thank you guys! I'll recommend you to all my friends who are fur parents! 😸

Healing Paws is a great place for your pet care! Called the morning of and was able to get a same day appointment for my dog. Very sweet, professional and kind, especially with dogs who are nervous with unfamiliar people. They provided great care and I left the appointment feeling at ease about my dogs care plan after a health scare. Highly recommend this veterinarian service for your animals.

LOVE healing paws and everybody who works there! They’ve always gotten my babies in at last minute and urgency. Saved stella’s life as she was really sick. i picked her up and she looked like a whole other cat. she’s never scared to go to healings paws. i can trust them. my recent cat tyson got sick and he was diagnosed with kidney failure. Dr. beatty talked everything through with me and never made me feel bad about calling them a million times a day. they never make you feel stupid for asking questions, they’re always very reassuring when it comes to my babies. i cannot thank everybody there enough for everything. thank you from Tyson, Stella & I for the wonderful care you do. 🧡

The very best Vet practice we have been to. Your animal is treated with kindness and compassion. Even if they are a little difficult to deal with ;) They always get us in if we have a problem or emergency. We love Healing Paws.

We have a little epileptic Pekingese--and he's such a handful when he goes to the vet! But Dr. Beatty and staff have always been sooo patient. And we're in a really good place with his epilepsy--the seizures are now infrequent and manageable. Dr. Beatty also helped take the fear out of a scary diagnosis, and we so enjoy our little Gus. We're so grateful for the staff at Healing Paws!

The staff is excellent, the care is above and beyond expectations. All staff members are very caring . Best Veterinary care we ever have had.

This Vet Clinic is incredible. I have been taking my current goldens here since birth. They are now 4.5 and 5 yrs old. Prior to them I've taken 2 other dogs and a cat to them for services. So, in all I have trusted them for over 10 yrs. They are very friendly, compassionate and extremely professional. When I take my boys to them for a visit, my boys drag me into the office from our vehicle. They get so excited when I tell them at home that we are going to the Vet. Obviously, they trust Healing Paws as much as I do. I'm sure a lot of pet owners that use another Clinics can't say that about their pet's reaction. Thank you, Healing Paws.

Being new to Springfield, I wanted to find my dogs the best care possible. I love that they’re fear free certified. I came in with my corgi in a muzzle and they were super understanding of her reactivity. They made both our dogs feel comfortable (one is anxious and one doesn’t like other dogs). The pups got into a little tiff and they were so helpful in finding a slot for us to get one checked in within the hour. Kaia and Ryuu are very thankful for all the treats.

Fantastic service, great with all dogs. My dog is a Boston Terrier Pug mix and super skittish. The workers here definitely know how to keep her calm and relaxed during the visit.

My fur babies get such wonderful care and attention from everyone here! Everyone is so kind and friendly and their love for our pets is so obvious! I highly recommend 😁

Our family has been using Healing Paws for about 5 years. I have had many good experiences with the Doctors and staff over this time. Every time I walk into this clinic the staff is always welcoming and caring.
Over this last month we have become a familiar face to all the staff at Healing Paws. I have had Guinea Pigs for about a year now. I have never knew how much I would enjoy them. I thought I got them for my kids, but they soon were just my little babies. One became sick with some bowel issues. I took him in and Dr Wantuck examined him to find a mass and some other issues. We scheduled surgery to perform three different things. The surgery went well and he came out eating and drinking. The office was so kind and kept me super informed throughout the day while he was there at the office. Unfortunately, about a week later he got a super bad infection and became severely sick. This was due to my failure to check his wound and keep it clean. Dr Wantuck recommended a second surgery to remove the infection. The decision to put him through another surgery was super hard for me. Dr Wantuck and the staff were so supportive in whatever I decided. Very informative about everything during the whole process. We decided to move forward with the surgery. I am extremely proud to say our piggie (Skunk) is well and doing amazing. He is such a sweet snuggly piggie and we are so happy to have him still. Dr Wantuck made excellent medical decisions and saved Skunk’s life. I highly recommend Dr Wantuck and all the Healing Paws staff.

Willie was a dear, loved member of our family. When his health was failing him ..... we needed help as soon as possible. They got us right in a saw to Willie’s health. His heart was failing as well as other organs. They were so very sweet to him and helped my wife enormously when the tough decision had to be made. They went above and beyond to be more than professional. They are animal lovers and wonderful people who care about the feelings of their customers. We will never forget them and are extremely grateful they were there for us through a very difficult time. We miss Willie and think of him every day ..... we love you, Willie!! Thank you guys so very much for all you did. God bless all of you.
