GOLD STAR Family Restaurant

Through word of mouth and Google this place was highly recommended. Well they were correct this was the best liver and onions I've made at a restaurant I smothered it with mushroom gravy very very good. My wife had hot beef Open face Sandwich which was also excellent. The salads were fresh waitress was very attentive and they were busy. One thing I liked about the place soon as I walked in the door the person that was at the cashier said have a seat any place that makes you feel comfortable.

Why I was impressed:
* Waitresses are welcoming and attentive
* Environment is friendly towards young parents and infants as well as towards those whose first language is not English
* My eggs were cooked perfectly… (I am extremely picky about how my eggs are fried and this was the first time ever that they were cooked to my liking.)
* Given softened butter for pancakes
* Unlimited coffee refills
* The restaurant supplies ketchup that is produced in the USA (The company who produces this product also donates to “Folds of Honor” which is a charity that supports families who have lost someone in the line of duty.)
* Glasses were clean
* Nursing friendly environment
* Restrooms were extremely well kept
* Husband was offered a to-go coffee (It was a very cold and snowy day so I found the waitress’s offer to be very considerate and kind.)

My husband and I are extremely sentimental so when we visit here next year, we will definitely be stopping by for breakfast again!

Love thisl gem of a local restaurant . Mary, our waitress definitely is worth the drive to see her smiling face and cheerful attitude. Plus it's a local business which I believe local businesses need support. Definitely will be back. Thank you Mary for your wonderful service and for having chocolate pie available for my husband's breakfast.

My fiancé and I just moved to the area, and we came across Gold Star. Oh. My. GOSH 🤤 their breakfast is incredible! Literally every single item we ordered came out hot, QUICK, and delicious!
On top of their food being great, the customer service is always stellar as well!! You won’t be disappointed coming to Gold Star ⭐ 🎉

Got the Country Skillet with biscuits and gravy. Very hot and tasty. I think the gravy had great flavor, the biscuit to me could've been fluffier. The amount is deceiving it's actually very filling. The skillet is very flavorful. Bathroom was clean.

Amazing mom and pops style restaurant. Great value for your money! Always a pleasant experience. Andrea has been our server more than any others I believe!

Very very clean, yes even the high chairs especially the high chairs. Food was plenty and sharable. I’m pretty picky too😁

This was our very first visit, but definitely won't be our last! The staff were all so friendly, our waitress did great and our cups were never even half empty despite the restaurant staying consistently busy. All 3 meals were delivered hot, correct and within 6-7 minutes of ordering. I had the Billings Special skillet, it came with a choice of 3 different sides, I went with sourdough toast and it was the perfect pairing. My 92 year old Grandma and 1 year old son also cleaned their plates! The portions were very generous and the pricing is affordable! A regular seated near us said he eats there 6 days a week and I can see why! Excited to try lunch or dinner soon too. 10/10 reccomend.

Oh my what a gem of a restaurant!! Google suggested it while I was searching nearby restaurants and I was not disappointed!! I ordered chicken liver and it was cooked to perfection, the picture I posted was when I realized I forgot to take a pic😮 so food was eaten! Good portion size and decent prices!! Grandson ordered breakfast for lunch and he ate it all!! Ham and cheese omelet hash browns toast! Would definitely eat there again!!

My husband ordered chicken livers they were perfect. Our server Mary is such a great server. Not only is she very efficient she's very friendly and kept my coffee cup full. We love going there even when it is busy you are treated like your first visit. Very friendly very polite love this restaurant.

We all enjoyed our visit to Gold Star. Home cooking at it's best. Just looking for a new place to eat and found this diamond in the small town of Billings.

They are amazing! We have ate there for two yrs of Sundays and they are always so yummy, great service and I always tell everyone to check them out!!!

All home cooked food and friendly staff make Gold Star a favorite when down in the Billings area. They whip the eggs in their omelettes and they're refreshingly fluffy and very delicious. I never had a bad meal here although it's often crowded at breakfast on the weekends.

We came in just before closing a party of 6 they encouraged us to stay and take our time overall great service and food.

The food is amazing! The staff all treat you like family!! We go here often!!

Food was great; I had biscuits and gravy. Service was really fast. On a Saturday morning at 8am, we were sat immediately, orders taken, & eating just after 8:30 am. The A/C was the only drawback. We were freezing, but we'll be back. Total for 5 people was just over $65.
