Route 66 Pet Clinic

Dr. Becky is one of the best vets around. Her and her staff are always calm and collected. They are very sensitive to pets and their owners. They genuinely, sincerely care. They truly want to help animals and people. Sometimes the options for pet care can be extremely costly. I greatly appreciate that all options are explained thoroughly and I am not expected or guilted into spending thousands, especially since some of those treatments don't work or cause more pain for the animal. They are sensible, down to earth and actually care. I cannot recommend them enough.

We have really enjoyed Rt 66 Veterinary clinic and the staff there. Dr. Becky is a wonderful vet. Sadly, today I found out that She is retiring Dec 1 2023. We are sad to see her go into that sunset. Best wishes to Dr. Becky and her staff. We will miss her very much!

A neighbor told us about this place.
Dr.Becky was great and so was the assistant. They are informative, understanding, and help new pet parents.
Them being affordable is an added bonus. Jason is the receptionist who is so amazing.

They have also coordinated with the Emergency Pet Clinic on Glenstone to provide consistent, quality pet care to see us through a emergency crisis.

I absolutely love taking my dogs here. My malamute mix, Nala, became pretty sick suddenly a few months ago and after an over night stay at the emergency vet I brought her right in and they helped her so much! Showed me how to give my girl an i.v. incase she needed it and are so so kind! They called the next day to see how she was and kept in close contact with us incase we need anything.

I got a persian cat and a German shepherd. They got their every shot and physical exam in Route 66 pet clinic. All the people are kind and passionate and my pets are well treated. Also the price is pretty reasonable. Highly recommend this clinic!

Dr. Becky and her staff are the best. They have genuine concern for my dog and it shows in their treatment. I appreciate the fact that she explains the cost and if it's not affordable the things that can wait. I live in Branson now but it's well worth the extra drive time.

This vet is excellent she takes her time, does not rush you, she also has and loves animals herself! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for new vet in this area!

Dr Becky and staff are so friendly. Dr Becky makes you feel comfortable asking questions and she is thorough in her information. They don't push add on sales. We are so blessed to have the vet clinic located here in the heart of the Westside Neighborhood.

Took my pit mix in today to get checked on for outdoor allergies. In Springfield, i find that some places are weary of accepting pit bulls due to the past bans and laws on pit bulls, but they didn't judge my dog for the breed that she is, and that meant a lot to me. The receptionist, the assistant, and the vet were all so nice and caring towards me and my pet. The appointment was very informative and they were happy to answer all of my questions. The vet prescribed my dog with an allergy medication, and said that she would call me in a week to see how the medication was working. To me, that really shows that the vet truly cares about the comfort of your pet when they will go the extra mile and contact you directly. I won't go anywhere else from now on!

I have taken my pets to Dr. Osterfund for 10+ years and love her and her staff dearly! Only in an extreme emergency would I consider taking them to any other veterinarian. Most affordable prices and genuinely concerned staff. 5 stars in my book!

Dr. Becky && staff are amazing with all 6 of my furbabies- not to mention my babes love them as well! We’ve found all our pets and we’ve always been able to get them seen in a timely matter. She’s helped us take care of a tick- ridden dog, who was dumped on FR 93, as well as a Doberman who was underweight, half blind, and chewing all of his hair off. We’re forever grateful for the staff at Route 66 Vet, and plan to remain faithful customers as long as they’re around.

Dr. Becky and her staff are wonderful! She is great with our pets, very knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. The staff is helpful, compassionate, and mind as well. They helped us get through a very tough decision with one of our pets recently, and I'm very grateful for them.

I took my puppy elsewhere at first - but they turned me down due to no money_ when I got here - I was treated with great respect and dignity, and they did everything they could to treat little Allie who was just 9 weeks old
Later that day - after ALL they did to assist, little Allie passed away, and I saw a tear in the eye of the assistant
I STRONGLY recommend the people here who actually care about the pet you bring in and don't give you a bill until AFTER they do the treatment based on your budget

By far the best pet clinic we have ever used! Jason, it's fantastic to see you up and about and speaking so clearly. Dr. Becky, thank you for being there for our dogs and keeping them as comfortable as possible during the last years of their lives.

Really appreciate this office. They've always served with kindness and are willing to do all they can to help. The vet is very informative and makes sure to support the parents in the best way. Highly recommend.

I trust Route 66 Pet Clinic with all 3 of my doggies. I bring them here for yearly check ups, flea/tick medication prescription, and recently some minor oral surgery and lump removal on my older boxer. Dr Becky explains everything perfectly clearly at each visit on any recommendations and observations concerning my dogs' health and I truly appreciate it!
