The electric repair service exceeded my expectations. They were responsive, transparent about the process, and left my home in pristine condition.

The electrician was punctual, patient, and took his time explaining what needed to be done and options to fit our budget and have our home be as safe as possible. He was very personable, respectful of our home, and nice to our pets! I don’t know who I spoke to when I initially made our appointment, but they were also courteous and helpful.

Empire Electrical Service is an excellent company for any electrical needs you may have. I recently hired them for a large event I was hosting and was blown away by their professionalism and attention to detail. They arrived on time, had all the necessary equipment, and were very patient in answering all my questions. They were also able to make adjustments on the fly to ensure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs.

I was so impressed with the service from Empire Electrical Service! I emailed them after another contractor had caused some issues with our electrical, and the technician contacted me back right away. He managed to quickly identify the problem, and gave me some great advice on how to handle the contractor. His advice saved me both time and money - I can only hope that I don't have any more major electrical issues, but if I do, I know I can count on this company.

Service was excellent and prompt. The person who assisted me in scheduling my appointment over the phone was extremely professional and accommodating. The electrician who completed the work was fantastic; he was on time, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He gave me an upfront estimate of the cost and time it would take to complete the work. I'd call Empire Electrical Service again if I had any future electrical needs.

Couldn’t recommend Empire Electrical Service enough. They installed new recessed lightning in our house and we couldn’t be more happy with the finished product. They were responsive, professional and on time. Will do business with Empire Electrical Service again.

Have had the Technician come out twice. Each time, he is both professional and thorough. Second time, he came out the same day as when I requested services. Very reasonable rates. Thought a big company like this would not do the small job I requested but it seems as if there is no job too small and they do not overcharge for small jobs like most companies do. Give them a call.

I contacted several organizations, and Empire Electrical Service was the only one that provided me with nothing but professional, real, and sincere care from the moment they answered my call to the completion of the job. Excellent work and real-time problem solving by Empire Electrical Service. Initial problem presented as a complex construction project which required drilling through a limestone foundation and tunneling under concrete. Instead they repurposed some existing but dormant infrastructure and completed the task quickly. Also, courteous and professional.

Awesome job! The guys showed up on time, professional, polite and very clean. They gave me an estimate before starting any work and it wasn’t a penny more than the estimate. The job was done well and I would recommend them to anyone!!

The sub-contractor who actually did the electrical work was very experienced and did a great job. However, the price I was charged by Empire was quite high.

Empire Electrical Service is NOT LOCAL. I called and scheduled for a service. I called them again 1 day before the appointment to confirm and was told that the technician that was supposed to come out was out sick and they will reschedule. Got a call from them saying the technician quit. My appointment was rescheduled a week after. New technician came out, I was with him the whole time and helped him resolved the issue. Got charged for the full service fee and everything. I told them I will pay them via check. They DON'T accept check. I told them, I will drive up to their office (I thought it was by Glendale) and pay it there. The customer service rep then say they are out of Chicago. I had no choice but to give up my CC over the phone.

At first this company seemed to be a perfect solution to our needs as a 4-plex owner. We paid for the year subscription which cost $199 and eliminated service fees and gave us 10% off all parts. What I didn't know is that Empire doesn't hire, they contract other companies. Any good experience we had was because of the company they were able to send out. We had one or two good experiences, but it quickly went south. On 4 separate occasions, I called for a technician in which they scheduled for an almost immediate appointment, giving us a 4 hour window frame. On all 4 back-to-back occasions (months apart), they called at the end of the window frame to cancel due to excuses from car accidents, to emergency jobs, to simply they can't get ahold of the technician. Also on all 4 occasions, they could not reschedule for 6 weeks. It began to seem like a fraud, hearing the same thing time after time.
Twice they randomly cancelled a service I had scheduled for remodels - which put us in a terrible position w/other contractors. Customer service is polite, but I never got the impression they fully understood English, and our discussions felt disjointed. Their responses felt rehearsed and sometimes were unapplicable.
I've never taken the time to write a negative review, but I feel this company is fraudulent and you should be aware.
I hope others have better luck than we did!

READ THIS PLEASE! This company is an absolute scam & I am wholeheartedly confident that these are fake reviews. Tim (the technician that was sent) was extremely rude & did not complete the work correctly. I called the company back to not only report the interaction I had with their employee but to also let them know that my customer was without power on & off throughout the night. I asked them if it was possible to send a tech back out to repair it properly. They said the manager would be giving me a call as well as the technician. I waited 2 hours & no one had contacted me. I called back & asked when I could expect a phone call. Kyle (the service rep) told me I could expect a call in 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes before calling & demanding to know when someone would contact me or be out for the repair. The service rep hung up on me & I had to call back again. They REFUSED TO SEND ME A RECEIPT FOR WORK I PAID FOR. $650 for something they DID NOT FIX. They told me the receipt could be emailed, took my info, & said it would be in my inbox. I called back again to let them know I hadn't received my invoice. The story changed & they told me that the manager AND the technician had to approve sending me a copy OF MY OWN RECEIPT. They refused to give me the managers name but someone slipped up and his name is Ryan. I'm not sure if that's true or not since I don't even think this company is real. I will be reporting this "company" to the BBB indefinitely.

I booked an appointment at our residence and no one showed. So I called and the tech was 45 minutes away with 2 calls left, so could not make it. So I rebooked for another day and no one showed or called. So they asked me to rebook again for another day(I was looking for fast service, so held out hope), and no one showed again. A manager was supposed to call me. I finally did get a call, but now they were over a week out. I now have no confidence in this company; three strikes and you're out.
