New House Chinese Food

Just wanted to share my favorite Chinese food place here in Springfield. Chicken combos and crab rangoon are must have here. I tried coconut chicken, it’s one of the new items and pretty good!

This is the best Chinese food in town!!! It's got a great menu selection, great prices, excellent food, as well as pleasant and prompt service.

I ordered the New House rice noodles they were very good & fresh! I’m happy I have leftovers they serve a generous amount. Crab Rangoons are good too. Food is cooked to order & still hot when I got home to eat.

This cute little place is in the old kfc on west chestnut. The food is great, very affordable. Apparently they deliver, we have not used this service. The owners are always there, serving and cooking. It is a family place. We enjoy the food and like the cleanliness of it as well. They have menu prices starting at 6.99

I ordered 4 shrimp fried rice and I attempted to add sesame sauce but there was a miscommunication. My order was corrected quickly and the store associates i spoke with were respectful and courteous. Still the best rice in Springfield!

The vegetable fried rice is awesome. We usually get sweet and sour and cashew chicken. They are both delicious and the serving size is plenty! Delivery time is pretty quick.

Really tasty and a HUGE variety of menu options. $6.99 specials, $12 large meals... something for everyone. Eat in, drive thru, also and they deliver if you call THEM, not a service - support your local restaurant, not a corporate delivery service! Always great food, again!

Best Sweet and Sour Chicken and Crab Rangoon in town, and best prices for the amount of food you get! My only suggestion would be the option for noodles instead of rice. Great Cashew Chicken, too!

Best comfort food chinese in town! I've spent probably $2,000 here in the past 5 years. I get the General Chicken "LARGE" and my wife gets the Sweet and Sour Chicken "Large". We get a large so it can feed myself, my wife and my 2 kids under 6 as well. and there is enough for lunch the next day!

Been coming here for several yrs now and we love the food. The food is always cooked perfectly n tastes amazing. The owner’s n staff are amazing always welcoming.

We ordered delivery today for the 1st time n again the food is amazing and tastes perfect the delivery driver was right on time very polite n pleasant n friendly person.

We will only come to this place for Chinese food or call for delivery.

If we could give 1,000 stars we would every time.

Best Chinese food around.... super friendly people and tons of food!! That stuff your eating at the buffets is trash... drive a lil extra and go to New House, you won't be disappointed.

This place was fantastic. We got the new house chicken and the shrimp fried rice, with spring rolls and crab Rangoon. Yep, this place is a gem!

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the cutest lady with her big smiles to my first bite 5 stars! The food was the best local Chinese food I’ve had by far. Keep up the great work!!!

I really enjoyed this place. It is not much to look at and is sort of on the rougher end of town, but it is worth a visit.

I ordered the general chicken combo (extra spicy) and hot&sour soup.
The quality of chicken seems to of above standard quality. also the breading is very crispy, despite being covered in the perfect amount of sauce.

The crab Rangoon are also very crispy and the filling is very good.

The hot&sour soup was great and comes with a bag of crispy things to add to it.

The best thing about the place is the price. There are cheaper places, but they are not nearly as good. the only complaint I have is the lack of communication between the owner woman and the man that took my order on the phone originally. I pulled up to the window and it was as if I had never called in.

Called to order delivery and they stated they delivered within 3 to 5 miles from store location, lady on phone was very polite, order delivery too about 45 minutes to deliver, and food was great. Was surprised by the larger than most Asian restaurant portion sizes, will definitely be ordering again! And love the fact that combos come with egg roll and crab rangoon!

Big servings, good food and good prices, family business, you can't go wrong eating here.

Best Vegetable Lomeine, I order extra veggies, really good crab rangoons. I like the fact they deliver in the surrounding area. It's great to have such an awesome Chinese food restaurant on the West Side.
