Duffer's Pub & Grille

Loved Duffers Pub & Grille in Oak Island, NC. We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were super friendly and helpful. They had a bunch of TVs so if you’re interested in watching sports, this is the place. The food was spectacular. Everything we had was delicious. we had the mussels casino, the bang bang shrimp, the Caswell salad, the pimento BLT and barbecue wings. They had a great selection of alcoholic beverages including different beers and wine. Will definitely go back when I visit.

Great place, delicious food, good service. The french fries here are the best. Great cheeseburgers. Kids loved it.

I am Soooo Thankful for Duffer's this Thanksgiving Day! First, I'm thankful I didn't have to cook 😉 but more importantly the food was Delicious! A true Thanksgiving Feast with all the fixin's and desserts! The staff is top-notch and very friendly! I think we may have started a new Thanksgiving Tradition! ☺ I highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back regularly!

A great family place and we have always enjoyed very generous portions of good food. I gave 3 stars on the service because I ordered a bottle of red with the prime rib, it was brought to me opened, apparently done so at the bar. The server set the bottle on the table and said "here ya go" and disappeared...all I could do was laugh to myself..I did not expect the official "Duffers Sommelier" to appear at my table but it would have been nice to have the bottle opened at the table. For all I know it could have been an empty bottle filled with house red. It was just strange and in its own way, funny. Other than this wine episode we've always enjoyed good food and service at Duffers.

Stopped in on a Friday with 15 people. They got us seated together fairly quickly. Great service. The wait staff was quick and very friendly. The food was good (not great). Beautiful atmosphere on the golf course next to the ocean. What more could you ask for? Maybe slightly better quality in the food. Would definitely visit again though.

After years of visiting the Island, we finally discovered Duffer's, and are so happy we did. This place is so awesome we went here multiple times during our visit, and took family out friends each time. Located on the golf course, this restaurant with a bar is the nicest restaurant we have visited on the Island. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant with views of both the ocean and the golf course. There service was some of best we have ever received. There is patio seating available, but there were no table umbrellas so we're ate inside after our first visit. It's just not any fun eating in full sun. We visited for lunch each time and there was never a wait; which is very unusual for any restaurant on the island. We give this establishment or strongest rating.

On a very busy, and crowded Friday night, management and staff scrambled to meet our request for a table for six-two eight y o with us. It was a welcome we didn’t expect.

Everything was delicious! Very quick and friendly service. We may eat here every day during our stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed Duffer's. Good food, great service, and after a few days of high heat and humidity, the restaurant was comfortable and cool:-) We didn't have to wait too long to be seating on a Tuesday early evening in a busy summer month. Our server Taylor was awesome as were the rest of the staff that took care of us. My husband and I were thankful we found Duffer's and loved spending time at Caswell Beach during our brief stay on Oak Island.

Beautiful location with great food. I come here often when I visit Oak Island! Always hot and fresh.

Ordered the filet mignon with yummy potatoes and a side of summer veggies. Filet was perfectly cooked.

Absolutely incredible! We played the course earlier in the week and a member recommended the restaurant, we had actuallly planned to go to another restaurant but they had a two hour wait.. started calling around to different restaurants on the island and remembered the golf course recommendation so we called and they had no wait (which was a little concerning 🤣). We had 10 in our group and headed that way, walked in and we’re seated immediately and we’re blown away by the service, atmosphere, and most importantly the food was incredible! Soo thankful that we went! Couldn’t have ever asked for a better experience everyone in my family loved it! Please visit this restaurant and golf course the golf was awesome too

We have been to many restaurants in the area and nothing can top this place for it's atmosphere, friendly service and consistently great food. We've ordered apps, entrees, salads, and sandwiches and have always been impressed by the presentation and taste of all things ordered. No exceptions.
It's a comfortable atmosphere, and a solid choice for a place to go to relax and be treated right.
Savannah, at the bar, is the best! She is friendly and attentive, and always eager to share her guidance on the menu.

We had a party of 8, 3 adults and 5 teenagers. We were all able to find something to eat and it was very good. The service was very attentive and the dining room had a great view of the golf course and the ocean.

Top notch quality food. Service was fast and accurate. no mistakes made.

I had the crab cake sandwich with a house salad and it was delicious 10/10.

My girlfriend had the chicken caprese sandwich with tator tots and it was great quality as well.

All in all I would definitely come back when i visit.

We spontaneously dined here with 20 guests 2/3/23 and could not have been more pleased! Manager Amy welcomed us and server Destiny was outstanding. The ambiance, meal and setting were all top-notch. Our family will be back - but we’ll definitely plan ahead 🕰

Some of the best crab dip we had while visiting Oak Island

We were very impressed with the service. A very large group (15) sat next to our party of 4. They were served appetizers for the table which delayed our dinner. It didn't bother us but the hostess/manager apologized and comped us a dessert even though we said it wasn't necessary.

Good place to eat or grab a drink, even if you don't golf. Seemed like the staff was having fun too.
