Great service and great food! Hannah is always great!

Usually great but food not good on a Monday eve. 6 of us. Music so loud you had to yell to talk. Guess good chefs had night off. Worse thing was tasteless chips with some tasteless cheese sauce. Have eaten here for many years. Bring back the old Village Bar. Des peres pub where people even brought their children.

The Village Bar is among the few places you'll find with its own distinctive qualia. It exudes a philosophy and aesthetic like no other local watering hole. In addition to having legendary burgers, it's a friendly and social locals bar filled with all ages, many of whom visit after they first did several decades ago, as children.

Their collection of authentic and nostalgic St. Louis memorabilia is like no other establishment's, and worth a look for anybody local or visiting. Originally the post office for Des Peres in 1879, it's survived for nearly 150 years now as a spot of commerce and conviviality. After a risk of disappearing a few years ago, new management has taken up the helm, expanded the original tavern into the next door Wig Shoppe, and it's keeping the tradition alive while converting the barn behind the main building into an event venue and distillery.

Village Bar is always a fun place to eat. Great burgers (try the chili burger!) and sides. Service is very good and friendly.

Thay have been a great place to go for many years. I first went there over 30 years ago and just went back recently. Same great food.

Had fantastic chicken wings. ..order the trashed wings, they don't disappoint Good place to eat and meet friends or take family for some fun.Ample parking... wheelchair accessible..Great location!

Love this place very nice atmosphere. For some basic wings wow they were amazing. Everyone food came out pretty fast but my wings came out slow but very good. Unfortunately the other 4 people at my table had burgers and fries and almost done eating by time I got my Wings.

I am visiting St. Louis for the first after starting a new job. After my first day I googled bar & grill and once I saw the photos of the exterior and bar, I was instantly transported to memories of the old supper clubs I frequented while going to college in Wisconsin.

I have rarely met such a welcoming group of individuals while on my travels! What wonderful conversations, and I got plenty of tips on places to visit and the history of the city and surrounding area.

The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic! I ordered their in-house made onion rings and the sourdough burger. Not only was my meal fresh and delicious but hot of the grill (and fryer).

I will definitely be coming back! And a side note, there is a really nice park nextdoor if you want to get some steps in after a stellar meal. Thanks for the hospitality Mark and gang! 😀

I love this place! It's my go-to place for bar food. It's a great place to watch sports and they do have the St Louis City soccer games as well. We've been lucky enough to find a table each time my husband and I have gone and the wait staff is fantastic and we haven't been disappointed in the food so far. Their onion rings are wonderful! Highly recommend!

Ooey-gooey mouth-watering cheeseburgers. A no-frills place that serves up delicious hot food and cold beer. Atmosphere is great and so is the staff!

Burger was so good I didn't even add any condiments to it. Best one in a long time! Great onion rings, too. I do wish they had gluten free items or at least a burger bun so I could take family there...

We went for burger week. The burger was decent the wings were really good & we got the loaded baked potato french fries that were really great

Good thing I'm fat or else I may not been able to finish off the onion rings. Fantastic atmosphere; they have a lot of neat old stuff hanging up. They claim their wings are the best in St. Louis; I would agree.

We had a friend recommended Village Bar since we were going to be in the area after going to see our 1st grand daughter at MOBAP. We had a great experience, our Server was very friendly and the food was outstanding. Definitely would recommend a visit

Great burgers. Our waitress was nice and attentive. There was a large group of men all talking at super high volume. Not eating only drinking. Not only were the noisy but they totally out powered the air conditioning. They left dirty glasses on our table.

They're known for their hamburgers, but their grilled chicken sandwich is amazing too. Love this place! Suggest you go after the lunch crowd leaves if you want to talk though. It really gets crowded and loud. 😁

Food was good. Typical smash burgers. Service was great and friendly.

Food was awesome the selection of bourbon was also top shelf and great the bartender was personable so is the rest of the staff and not to mention the food being awesome and for a great price
