Sandpiper Buffet

Stopped in on my trip from orlando FL to home in Raleigh. The sandpiper is more a drive-through and takeout as it was hurt by COVID. However, the BBQ and pork chops sandwich was fantastic! Would return for take-out again as I live in Raleigh.

This is our first time to eat here. The food was hot and delicious. My favorites are the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and, fried chicken, cabbage (I loved the fact it is shredded), okra & tomatoes, beef liver & onions in gravy, yeast rolls, fried trout and the homemade apple crisp with ice cream.
I enjoyed the food and we will be back.

Picked up dinner at the drive thru today. Fast service and the food was hot. Since the restaurant is not currently open for indoor seating. No issues but a person approached every car asking for a few dollars. The same guy every time my mom comes here. It's annoying and they should ask him to not bother the customers.

Awesome home cooked plate of food! Ordered 3 plates of food for under $40..and it was DELICIOUS

Great food, lot of variety,clean friendly atmosphere.

Ordered several times here since the COVID-19, the special plate of the to-go menu was great, very fairly priced and taste good.

I really love sandpipers I love them as a kid coming to church every other Sunday just awesome place to be

I miss the buffet so much! The food is still great and the staff still make you feel like family! Overall great experience.

The good was wonderful. I deff left full. Must try n our server was the best I had ever on point with the drinks n picking up the plates we were done with

Best lemonade in tow and if you love rice and gravy, this is your place

Food was fresh, hot and delicious! It was a bit of a wait in the drive thru line, but it was worth it. I gave 1 star for atmosphere, because there is none. They're still ONLY offering drive-thru ordering and pick-up from online ordering.

Great food. I just wish they would open the dining room back up. I asked when they were going to open it back up to the public & was told it's not as far as she knows.

I visited this restaurant on 8/31/2023 around 4:00pm. I ordered 2 pieces on fish, and they were over cooked fried to hard . You know if you fry fish to hard it's not worth eating well 👀 that's what I got . No enjoyment out of this fish meal . Type of fish Quoker ! Please don't fry so hard , and please stop putting over ripe bananas in the banana pudding no one wants to eat the Banana pudding with dark bananas 👀😅. Much appreciated

My sister, brother & I all met up in Fayetteville to take our 88 yr old mother here for Mother's Day, we all had a great time. We love our mama, she's the BEST in whole world.

The buffet area is not open but drive thru is still pumping out delicious food..
