Morrisville Fire Department Station 1

Our 2-year old grandson is obsessed with fire trucks and firefighters. So, on a whim, we thought it might be fun if he could visit the Morrisville main station and see real fire trucks in person. Brian was kind enough to take our grandson’s hand and show him the ladder truck, an emergency vehicle, and where the firefighters sleep when they are on duty. Our grandson waved to a group of firefighters working with ropes and even got his own red Junior Firefighter hat! It was the highlight of his week and everyone he meets he tells them, “I saw a fire truck!” I really appreciate the kindness of Brian and his crew in taking some time out of their busy day to show a toddler around. Great staff. Great building. We took a tour of the fire station for my 3 year old this weekend and it made his day/birthday.

Morrisville Fire Department provides prevention services. It has got three fire stations (including Department 1) and prevention apparatus. Department posses engines, ladders & cars. It offers online fire safety and emergency tips. It conducts events related to fire situations like live burns, trench rescue & firefighter rescue conditions. The department also organizes volunteer programs from time to time. It is governed by the City of Morrisville. The Department plays important role in keeping city safe and pollution free and as it seems that it has achieved its goals.

As soon as we called this station, they arrived to our house within a minute, as fast as lightning. We are thankful that these brave men make our town safe!
