I had a chronic injury that Tony helped me to resolve within a few weeks. He answered all my constant questions and gave me great techniques/exercises for going forward to both strengthen and prevent further injury. Needless to say, I wish I had sought help sooner and Tony's expertise is very much appreciated! Susan, the office admin was also very helpful and responsive.

I saw Brett for a shoulder and neck issue. He gave me strengthening exercises that I did regularly and still do at home. He is very knowledgable and paid attention to be certain that I was doing things correctly. I highly recommend.

I have had outstanding results working with Tony and Hannah at Russell Therapy. I had two separate issues and they resolved them both. They pay 100% attention to you and your work the whole time of your appointment. Their anatomy knowledge is superior and they have an interest in really explaining and teaching you the ‘why’ behind what you are doing or experiencing. Susan is also so easy and pleasant to work with when making appointments. Everyone goes the extra mile here.

I have been coming here over the past 4 years for various sports related injuries. As a runner and weightlifter I’ve found Russell Physical Therapy has always gotten me moving again quickly after an injury or pain. I’ve worked with multiple of their therapists and they can always identify and get rid of lingering issues. They preach that movement is medicine and I couldn’t agree more. Brett and Tony are great. I’ve had their dry needling and lasers treatments done as well and they are so good for inflammation. The whole staff is so friendly from the ladies at reception to everyone they make you feel at home and always treat you with respect.

The team at Russell Fyzical Therapy is amazing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy. The arthritis I have in both knees, combined with a macerated meniscus, was causing me significant pain – to the point that I was sure I would need knee surgery. While that may still be in my future, I am now living comfortably with my condition, and have been able to resume hiking/biking. Brett and his team (shout out to Hannah) are professional, caring, friendly, and very capable!

I recently started therapy here after having to do in home health pt and ot for months. I was so nervous.
At first I dreaded it because I was nervous and anxious.
Now, I'm excited when my therapy days come because the workers at Russell actually REALLY care about their patients. They listen to you when you go in and they work with you to help you achieve YOUR goals!
They have a lot of different equipment and I'm excited that even in my wheelchair, I'm able to bike! 😍

This was my second trip to Russell Fyzical. I'm 75 yrs old. Can't receive better personal attention to physical problems. My issues were in the back and hamstring areas. Brett Russell is a "hands on" manager who takes an interest in every patient. Hannah was my trainer for 6 weeks. She developed a program that gradually brought me to a point where I was able to successfully perform the exercises at home. I know I am always welcome if future issues occur.

Brett and his staff go above and beyond to help you with your therapy. Great employees who are very knowledgeable when it comes to treating your injury. For over fifteen years I had suffered with shoulder, neck and pain to the back of my head. This pain was continuous. There were many nights I could not sleep because of the pain. I tried Botox injections to the back of my neck that relived my pain for a short time. But in two or three weeks the pain returned. My brother recommended Russell physical therapy. After the second visit with Brett my pain was completely gone. For the last five years. I visit Brett once or twice a year when I feel my neck begin to stiffen. My neck,head and shoulders are totally pain free. Thank you Brett and staff, for the miracle you have performed. You have truly been an answer to my prayers.

I am very impressed with the quality of care and the welcome relaxed friendly atmosphere. From my 1st encounter on the phone with Susan, I felt relaxed and welcomed. I went for a knee issue from hiking from Nov.12-Dec. 15 2021 & back Dec. 28 for an elbow/arm/wrist issue due to a fall in Paris Mtn.
I have spent most of my time with Hannah who is by far the best at deep massage for my painful elbow! Highly recommend 💖

Having balance/stability issues, I went to Brett's center for treatment. A comprehensive and personal plan was created for me, and is carried out by his professional and most genial staff in a very supportive atmosphere. My progress is notable to me and visible to the staff. I highly recommend Russell Fyzical Center for physical therapy needs.

I had suffered injuries from a plane crash in November 2020. My right scapula was broken in eight places and both shoulders were dislocated. Following the accident, I met with Brett and was pretty discouraged as I had muscle atrophy and lost strength and range of motion.
At first, I was frustrated not able to do the activities I was used to doing. Lifting a ½ gallon of milk out of the fridge was a challenge. Brett’s program of therapy featured innovative laser treatments, exercises and needle therapy along with encouraging words of support from the staff paid off and gradually began to show results as I was gaining strength and flexibility. But after several weeks Brett noticed my left shoulder was not responding as well to therapy as my right shoulder and asked if I had had previous injuries. I confessed I had dislocated my left shoulder multiple times prior to my accident. Brett immediately knew that I had a more severe injury and urged me to get an MRI. He recommended several different shoulder doctors in Greenville. The MRI revealed a badly torn rotator cuff, torn labrum and bicep. I had surgery in late March and resumed physical therapy with Brett a month after surgery. Brett took a personal interest in my case and worked with me diligently to gradually restore flexibility, range of motion, and strength.
Now, five months after surgery and nine months after the crash, I am back enjoying doing the activities I like to do.
I am forever grateful to the team at Russell Physical Therapy including Susan, Tony, Hannah, Haley, KC, Sarah and especially Brett. They always greeted me with a smile, encouraged me, and made the most of each therapy session. If you have had an injury or are recovering from surgery, I recommend Russell Physical Therapy and wouldn't waste my time going to anybody else.

This was actually my second round of therapy. The first was a couple of years ago for my back. When I needed therapy for my neck I signed on with them again.
One on one exercises, stretches and, when needed, therapeutic massages. Brett, Tony, Hannah and Susan will
do all they can to make sure you are getting all the care you need.
Can't forget the shop mascot. KC is the sweetest girl. You will fall in love right away.

I have a chronic back problem and I have had other issues over the years. At first I tried a different physical therapy practice, but I was just a number or job and then my chiropractor told me about Brett. This was at least 10+ years ago. I have never been a "number" there. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. While my situation cannot be resolved, they have made it so I can physically move around and I get some relief from the pain. The therapists and staff are a real asset to our Travelers Rest community. Thank you guys!

They are an amazing team! the moment I called and said I was in pain, Susan got me in to see Brett and I was better almost immediately. Tony is wonderful and caring, they are just the best because they care about you and helping you to get better. I would never go any where else for PT!

I highly recommend this place. Brett Russell and his staff are all so helpful. I had several treatments for a head and neck injury. I received dry needlng, laser treatments and manual massage each session per my request. I also was taught a lot of strengthening exercises to increase mobility in my neck and shoulders. It is amazing how much they do to help each cliient get better. Thank you Brett for never giving up on my quest for painfree days. This is the only physical therapy place that I will ever use. Yes, it really is a 5 star place without a doubt.
