Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ooltewah Springs-Chattanooga, an IHG Hotel

Newly remodeled and the rooms are very clean everyone is very pleasant and greeted me with a smile. Breakfast was the best I ever had at a hotel. Mona took my plate while I finished my coffee she kept tables cleaned and coffee fresh. Nikki gave me a bumblebee hug that made my day. Maddie and Trish was just the sweetest they made sure that I had everything I needed and directed me to some good restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I needed to use our IHG reward points and decided to give this location a try for a night. We're glad we did. The room and hotel were very quiet and we were both able to relax and rest well, which is saying something considering our neck and shoulder issues. Nikki made a terrific breakfast, among the best we've had at a comparable hotel. We enjoyed the mini-fridge and microwave, and the room coffeemaker was clean and included some nice teas. The Ooltewah Holiday Inn Express is also less than 10 minutes from the mall and McKay's. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as groceries. I'm OCD about cleanliness and have significant environmental allergies, but our room (128) was acceptable. They just renovated the guest rooms last year (2023), so everything was up to date, but there was no bathroom exhaust fan and the bathtub faucet handle was not attached properly. The heating/AC fan ran all the time, which I would prefer to be able to turn off. The in-hotel store had little in the way of pain or stomach medicine, but had plenty of snacks, soft drinks, and cold and microwavable food.

Had a great stay the staff was fantastic I’d like to mention Nikki Hubbard, she was there during breakfast and was so professional and always had a welcoming smile on her face. She was definitely the nicest person we’ve interacted with at breakfast. The rest of the staff was great too. By far the best experience we’ve had.

Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was the best part of my stay Mona and Nikki kept hot fresh food and coffee. And always had a smile even though they were busy. Maddie was nice and helpful and made sure our checkin was easy.

Absolutely great staff,and clean rooms. Breakfast was great with lots of choices, and having a special diet I actually had lots still to choose. We highly recommend this hotel.

I didn't stay in the rooms, but I always remember what they are, look and feel. But the service, location and also one in particular employee " Monna" was very polite, courteous, and a very special person. The breakfast area was very clean.

The rooms were very clean & the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good which isn't always true of free breakfasts. Quite happy with my stay.

Cozy, clean rooms! The boys didn't have to share a bed, and they were grateful for that luxury! And the beds were comfy! Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

We LOVED this location. Johnny was at check in and had so much information to share about the area. Trisha, Nikki and Bella were also very helpful with various things and I witnessed firsthand how wonderful they were with other guests. EXCELLEMT breakfast food too! Very clean rooms!

We needed a place to crash after driving for hours so we stopped at the holiday Inn in Ooltewah Tennessee. The stay was great and Nikki was so sweet and helpful. She was full of helpful hints and even helped us find a great place to eat dinner!

Staff was phenomenal, always friendly and professional even when we brought 50 teens and young people to the hotel for a conference. Rooms were great and clean.

It had been a while since we stayed at a Holiday Inn. Was very satisfied and impressed. Very clean and updated hotel, hot breakfast was good as well.

Love everything about this hotel. Newly remodeled. Staff is excellent. Super clean . I always stay here if my travel allows.

Used the pool and was nice the hot tub was hot but not working and dirty, room was clean and comfortable I would definitely be back

They were renovating but I really couldn't tell.(very quiet) just a slight fresh paint smell the day we were leaving.
Front desk staff was great, ladies on breakfast patrol were great. Holiday inn breakfasts are awesome!
The pool was nice and warm the hot tub was nice and hot.
We had 2 double queens that were very large. Probably the biggest rooms in a Holiday I've ever had. Although one of them the ac didn't work but it never got too awfully hot.
Area was very nice and overall pleased with this stay.

Breakfast was amazing, the eggs was great and tasty. They have gluten free blueberries muffin and almond silk milk for your coffee which was great since I’m gluten and lactose intolerant.

Nikki Hubbard is absolutely Amazing!!! She is the reason we come here! She's definitely a keeper and deserves the absolute best treatment! A shining star!!

We stayed 4 nights at this location. I brought my service animal with me… a 15 pound terrier trained to be by my side. At 5:45 AM I walked him outside for his potty walk. An older woman who worked in the breakfast area demanded to see my papers for him. I had just gotten up to take care of him and didn’t have them on me (at 5:45 AM). I just wanted a cup of coffee even though the breakfast area was closed. I knew they had coffee there ready for patrons. She chastised me for having him there (even though it wasn’t open nor were there any patrons). I did present my documents for my support animal at the time of check-in. I was very disappointed in her. She should have checked at the desk as I already did my due diligence.

Nikie & Carmen the two lovely ladies in the breakfast area, were extremely pleasant.
Their area was the neatest & cleanest I’ve seen lately.
