Gateway Park

Small recessed sports-oriented public park located near downtown Traveler's Rest. Features a medium-sized baseball diamond, small football field, small playground with equipment, and two recently surfaced pitches for tennis and basketball. Ample parking. Adjacent to a bike skills park, and near the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

My son enjoyed their beginners level BMX track so much. It is free to use and he loved working hard to see if he could get some air.

Played tennis with my nephew. Nobody on the two courts at the time.

Nets were carefully raised off the ground.
We unhooked the harness and put it back when we were done. Good way to keep the nets in good condition.

Gateway Park has an open, not closed in feeling, for families to go and be outside together. The bike track looks really fun, once you are accustomed to it. There is also a small playground with happy families playing. I saw a baseball diamond with dads playing coach pitch with their children, and there is a basketball court as well. We enjoy the park very much. The restroom is not the best, however.

Lots to do! Basketball court, football + soccer field, pickleball & tennis. Good parking, mountain biking trails and pump track, and playground for kids. Very versatile and in great location, would recommend for many different activities

10/10 for beginners looking to build confidence mountain biking. Went with my bf, who is close to professional, and we were both able to have so much fun! What a great little secret MTB park! The loop around the park is worth going on too. Perfect ride for a 94 deg day!

This park has a mediocre playground and an ok ballfield, but what sets it apart is a phenomenal mountain bike skills park. There is an easy loop as well as some more advanced terrain and a recently redone jump line that is very well maintained and put together for great progression. This park is perfectly set up to bring your kid and their bike and build their skills, with something for every level of rider from beginner to expert.

Great little mountain bike pump track to have fun or hone your biking skills. We've been here many times and will be back many more. Close to downtown Travellers Rest so you can do some sightseeing ànd shopping too.

It's a nice little park. Not too big, not too small. It has your normal playground equipment. However, there's a pretty nice race track for bikes alongside a baseball field and an open field for other rec. Sports. Perfect for kids and teens.

Fun bike trails for all ages. Kids can really have fun here. Young and old.

Convient park with a mountain bike course, sports fields, and kids playground.

Great park for any skill level. We went to practice some jumps and cornering. Everything was well kept up and the crowd was nice to ride with. There were a nice variety of jumps and features. Would like to visit again soon!

Super cool off road bicycle track! My son loved it!

Quiet little spot to enjoy some chill time while easily keeping an eye on kids riding bikes or throwing the ball. Nice and peaceful. Love the old concrete bleachers!!!

Recently discovered this park and couldn't be happier. The wide variety of trails for mountain bikes is awesome. From jumps and berms, to drops and rock gardens there's something for everyone. There's also a playground, tennis courts, and what I think is a soccer field. It's also just off of the swamp rabbit trail. The best thing about it is the price, it's free, but it's still so much fun.

A great place to work bmx/ mtb skills. I just watched 6yo get ran over by full size bike. Parents need to understand small children shouldnt be on the tracks at peak times. The tracks are short and about speed the ones in the woods are covered in leaves making it harder to stop.

Best park in Greenville county!! Biking the swamp rabbit trail there in Travelers Rest is great for the whole family and beautiful scenery!! Had a great time and will definitely be there more often!!
