The Velo Fellow

Awesome bar in a beautiful city! Thank you Addison for your warm & friendly conversation 😀 We were passing through town on a roadtrip and wanted to get a bite to eat & a beer. Downtown falls are beautiful but the nearby restaurants were a little fancier than we wanted, Google Maps helped us easily walk to Velo Fellow and we were not disappointed with the casual vibe and food! Portions were huge, had a hard time finishing, wish we could have stayed for the live music.

This place is a really neat, old, basement bar and eatery. We weren’t really here to drink, but to eat.

Good burgers. Good everything really. Cool ambiance. Their homemade chips were excellent. It seemed like a local hangout. Our food was delicious.

We were there on a Friday night. Luckily we got our food and finished eating just in time. A DJ was setting up to start about 9pm and there were plenty of people coming to hang out.

Big venue for a bar. Lots of selection. I’d gladly eat here again.

The only “knock” on this place is that it’s dark in here. To see our menus we had to use the lights on our phones. I mean, you can see to eat and walking around is no problem, it’s just not bright enough to read.

We truly enjoyed hanging out here during our visit to Greenville. We were looking for a place to have a quick cocktail after visiting the falls. We ended up hanging out for two hours and then found our way back that same evening to enjoy the nightlife and sounds of the DJ on Friday night. The food was delicious… the drinks generous. I forgot to take a picture of the fish and chips because we were starved. The buttery chicken was scrumptious. Disappointed they were out of the starving artist but it gives us a reason to come back next year and do it all again… thank you for the hospitality and great memories…

Cool eclectic bar! We stopped by during the day for a few beers, but haven't checked out any bands yet due to having an 18 month old. Once she's a little older and we have a baby sitter, we'll be back to check it out!

Went for a concert to see a band called State of Illusion. Great small venue. Staff was amazing. Great bar food.. The loaded tater tots and chicken strips were both great.

Cool place that definitely has an old word pub feel to it. Lots of exposed brick and wood interior makes it feel right.
It was fairly busy when we visited, and service was pretty good. Food came out quickly! Very tasty too! We had the mac & cheese, black beans and rice. Also had to try the fish and chips, gotta at a pub right?! Everything was very good. I have to say, the black beans and rice was exceptional, so good! Fish and chips (sorry about the bad pic, should have taken more than one) also hit the spot. Could have used a bigger portion of slaw though. It's good as well. The pub mac & cheese is definitely big enough to share. And being so tasty, everyone will want a bit too!

Bartender working was wonderful! Didn’t get food but the family I was with loved their drinks. Will be back when I’m not pregnant!

Not my life choices crowd. But, everyone is polite and the sandwiches are good. Recommend Mckenzies Black Cherry Cider, I will be hunting that down for the house

Beautiful, little quaint restaurant downtown Greenville and the food is great! Service was awesome and we will be back, the live music was a hit too.

You gotta have Sense of humor to make the most of this place but excellent food and service!!! You gotta get the fried green tomatoes. Margarita pricing is by the shot plus the mix. Two charges on your bill. Not complaining cause it’s one of the best margaritas we’ve ever had! Just wanted you to be aware. Fish and chips are the bomb, but I have never tasted a Reuben that comes close! It’s freaking amazing!!!! And HUGE!!!! Fried green tomatoes are the perfect appetizer with the garlic pimento cheese. Make sure you ask for Taylor!

One of the best chicken pot pies I've ever had and it came with a nice side salad, I found it to be a great value overall! I was also excited that there were multiple cider options outside the norms of Bold Rock and Angry Orchard. The brewery itself had a nice cozy/relaxed vibe, would definitely go back!

Velo is THE bar in downtown if you're looking for a cheap drink and a fun time. The bar tenders are fantastic, the drinks are exactly what you would expect, and the frequent entertainment in the back room is always top notch. Velo keeps us coming back.

I knew this place had great beer and sandwiches, but I had generally avoided it when looking for a lighter lunch. No more. I grabbed the cobb salad for lunch and can recommend it without reservation.

Didn't eat here but it's a lot of chill vibes and good fun. Definitely a core downtown Greenville experience. Cute spot for a first date. Games to play and quiet spots to retreat to in the back. Also good for big groups that want to party together.

Chicken Salad sandwich and The Oscar were great. Cool spot for lunch

Super friendly atmosphere and service. Lovely, chill atmosphere with some great bites. Love the house made bread used for their offerings.

My wife and I have been coming here for over six years. We truly enjoy Velo Fellows with its great consistency over time.

First time here, atmosphere was exactly my type - dark, quiet, cozy. Food was excellent, drinks were good (could have been stronger but I prefer quite a stiff pour in my libations) and it stayed quiet, though it was the Monday after Valentine's Day. Stage for live music, two entrances, and it's tucked away in downtown - these are all good things. Had a house lavender IPA; not -My- favorite but all-around a solid beer. Vodka sodas were cheap (again, personally prefer them stronger BUT the pour was fine), house mixed drinks were excellent - I'll definitely be back!
