Poinsett Park

We love this park we rented the shelter for the day holds 50 people we are cooking hamburgers, hotdogs and homemade chili. We have chips and plenty of drinks. I will take lots and lots of pictures for y’all. The restrooms are real clean and have soap and toilet paper. play ground is clean lots of shade a big path so you can walk around the park. There is a little creek that kids and dogs play in. Plenty of parking. Hidden jewel in Travelers’s Rest, South Carolina

You can play for HOURS and not get bored. This place was great- we played and made friends and had such a great time!
Good location to have birthday parties!

I like taking the kids to this park because it's usually not busy so the kids can play and I can keep and eye on them better without too many people around. The playground is pretty decent and they have a track that you can walk on while the kids play, as well as several branches and a covered picnic area. The bathrooms are always clean too. I highly recommend this park. We have been going to this park for years and always enjoyed it.

Great kid’s playground and paved circle to walk or ride a bike, longboard, or blades. There are several picnic tables both out in the open and under a shelter. Dog-friendly.

One of our favorite parks. Nice little walking trail, bathrooms, and the perfect playground for our son. Not usually crowded either.

When your kids are running through the house with buckets on their heads loudly yelling at the dog who is the alien, take them to this park! It has a great playset for older kids, and one for toddlers. There are also swings. The track is perfect for bike riding or pushing the baby in the stroller. There's a shelter and lots of picnic tables so pack a lunch!

I've been taking children here for decades. It's such a nice place for families and we've met a lot of wonderful people.

I took one of my puppies and my grandchildren to the park and we had a blast!

Great open area for kids to play. It has two different playground equipment sizes one for under 5 and one for over 5. It has a walking trail that is paved so kids can ride their bikes on it as well as walk.it has a big open space to play football of throw a frisbee. Able parking spaces.

Nice park, good tree coverage, enough playground equipment & picnic tables. Cool even though the temperature was mid to upper 80s. Sat in my car with the windows done, waiting on my daughter to go on break. Very comfortable.

My two grandkids just love this park! Weather was mild with temperature around 65 degrees! Only a few other childen in the park. A large climbing/sliding gym
in center large enough to accommodate many children from 4 to 12 yrs old. Highly recommend! Rest rooms and a couple picnic tables. An overhead area for larger gathering.

Love to go there early in the morning to run out walk the track. Quite and peaceful

This is a great little park! It has: 1 baby, 1 handicap and 2 regular swings, climbing and slides for the preschool set and older kids, A pavilion with tables and bathrooms. As well as several picnic tables and benches around the play area. Also there is much green grass to run and play on. And the park is encircled by a walking tract. Lastly, there is a small stream or creek that runs along the park, just out of sight, in the woods. ( Only about 8-12 inches deep and not fast moving, but something my kids really enjoy). If there is a downside, it would be that one side of the walking trail is close to the frontage road, and that makes this Mama just a little nervous.

With a paved walking/jogging track, covered shelters with grills, benches, a child safe playground, public bathrooms, and large grassy area this is a perfect place for a family with young children to visit. Or grandparents to take grandchildren! The track had been used to teach many children how to ride a bike, too!

We've had several birthday parties here and enjoyed a stress free day with no games to plan, and everything we needed there.

Great little park with an excellent child's play ground. We had a wonderful 3 year old birthday party.

This park is one of the best I've ever visited. Clean restrooms, shade trees and picnic tables, and the play ground itself is super neat. I love the little tykes playground separate from the big kids one.
