Candlewood Suites Milwaukee Brown Deer, an IHG Hotel

Amazing hotel. Good amenities. Excellent front desk workers. You can borrow an assortment of cookware items, such as Crock-Pots, blenders, waffle irons, and other things. The elevator is great. Really helps after a long day. Pet friendly, and cheaper than most places. $20/wk, as compared to $20/day. No pool, but great for long term stays. Up to 1br apartment style king rooms, with pull out couch.

Great rooms! They have a kitchenette, huge bonus. All the basics are walking distance and the property was clean. It's on the north side, but only took 20 minutes to get to downtown

I’ve enjoyed my 6 week stay here. Stacy, the property manager, is amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Because of her hospitality, I will book here again. The property and rooms are clean. Housekeeping is scheduled weekly. Friendly and courteous staff.

This is a good hotel for a long stay, whether you're waiting to get into a house or there for work. The well-stocked kitchenette with a full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and ice maker was awesome to have. As a long term stay location, house keeping isn't the same as other hotels but it doesn't take much to empty trash and request new towels periodically. Breakfast and standard toiletries are not free but again, this is a place to stay for longer stretches versus a single night.

The important stuff:
- Full kitchen with two stove burner and fridge/freezer
- 20+ various kitchen appliances available to borrow from the front desk
- FREE laundry machines
- Covered patio with propane grill
- Good water pressure/temperature control
- Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in showers
- Friendly staff!

Probably more, but this is not a fancy hotel but clean and extremely convenient and practical. 10/10 would stay here again.

The location is fantastic for my husband’s temporary Locums job at Rogers BH right across the street! The staff is very helpful and we have a quiet room with everything we need. The executive chair in kitchen is a nice touch.

I stayed at Candlewood over the weekend with my wife. and the staff especially the Manager Stacey, couldn't be more accommodating. The room was clean and very well maintained. We came in from California to visit my Mother. And we will be back around the holidays. We will be staying here again.

It's beautiful!!! It's like having your own apartment!!!! Seriously you have a fridge a stove cabinets dresser full-size bathroom queen size bed everything you need to cookand if you don't have it in your kitchen to cook with you can go downstairs and borrow a Crock-Pot or slow cooker or grill outside and they supply the utensils for you I mean it's the best suite I have ever stayed at in my entire life. I definitely recommend this place to everybody you can do your laundry for free you just have to buy your own soap etc. they also have a gym. You definitely get your money worth!!!! Definitely five stars and I didn't even mention everything!!!! you have to come see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!!!😉😉

Superb staff, large clean rooms and lovely bed/pillows makes for a great stay. We loved the location, quiet surrounding and easy parking. Hotel manager was kind enough to accommodate a room type request quickly and with no hassle. We will definitely look to come back here again when next in the area. Thanks Brown Deer team!

I stayed here for two weeks during a business trip to the Milwaukee area. The rooms are neatly organized, well stocked with amenities, and are clean upon entering for the first time. During sleeping hours, hotel was quiet and peaceful and I was able to sleep very well in a very comfortable bed. Cooking food in the room can be quite a chore as I managed to set off the smoke detector which blasted for ten minutes. The staff were very courteous and accommodating to reasonable requests. I am looking forward to staying here again the next time I am in the Milwaukee area.

I stayed here for 6 days & definitely recommend anybody looking for a great hotel experience to chose Candlewood Suites. The front desk personnel went above & beyond to make sure I was comfortable. My room was immaculate upon entering & was equipped with everything you couid ever need when away from home for any length of time & if you needed anything that wasn't you could borrow it from downstairs. My cat was welcome & adjusted to be being away from home quicker than I expected. I have to say that the cleaning staff that clean & make the rooms inviting need special recognition because there job is not easy.. They all work very hard to make sure your room is clean & stocked with what you'll need during your stay. My bed was made perfectly &.. In 6 days I couldn't do it if I tried .. lol

After staying at the Extended Stay America for twice the price , this was a pleasant surprise! Room was lovely, clean, and well stocked!! Staff never bothered us but were very pleasantly responsive if we called for anything. Highly recommended. We will be back!

My experience here was great. By far the best hotel I've stayed at. The reception was super nice and friendly. They made me feel right at home. The rooms were great, they had small kitchens in each room with appliances and cooking essentials. My overall experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful staff! Everyone is welcoming, friendly and helpful with questions and recommendations. Stacey and Bailey are the best, so sweet! The rooms have kitchenettes and there is laundry on site. Great for longer stays and even short ones if you want to feel right at home!

I'm here at the Brown Deer, WI location for awhile due to a fire in the bldg I live in. It's nice and comfortable here. The staff have been great. It's nice they have a kitchenette with a full size fridge and they have a laundry just down the hall. My room also has a handicap bathroom which was a must for me. I would only suggest it would be better to have the microwave up on a shelf to free up counter space (there's plenty of room) and have a Keurig in the kitchen, but since they dont have a Keurig, I was able to rescue mine from my condo, thank goodness. Its pretty nice here. Kind of like an efficiency apartment! It's close to fast food (Culvers & Wendy's within a block), grocery stores, Aldi, Walmart etc.

Great staff..loved Stacey's energy and personality! We were able to check in early to allow us to do some exploring. Room was neat and clean. Stove, full size fridge and microwave in room.

Sweet girl named Emily worked there. My company messed up our hotel reservation and when I arrived to check in, there were no longer rooms. Emily called around and found us another room at another hotel and even offered to buy my daughter something from the pantry with money out of her own purse. Definitely an amazing employee and I hope this hotel realizes that.

I stayed there as temporary housing when I relocated to Milwaukee for a job. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was very quiet. It was very convenient to work. And I had my dog with me and set up for having dog was great.

While the hotel isn't the fanciest facility, the staff and excellent service more than make up for it. I have now stayed there on 2 occasions for 2 weeks each stay and am returning this week. If you are looking for a safe, friendly, well maintained place to stay in the area, I highly recommend this hotel.

The place was very clean. Staff was pleasant. Rooms clean and roomy.
It had a kitchenettes it was very well supplied.

ThIs is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. I stayed here for 2 months while working in Milwaukee and the staff really made me feel at home. Clean and modern rooms. I'll definitely stay here again in the future.
