Food was amazing !
I had TacosAlPastor. They were filled super full of meat. The green Salsa wa perfect.
He had Parrilada El Patron. It was fantastic. SOOOO much food. Plenty leftovers.

It's so hard to find good Mexican food in the mid-south, but this restaurant is amazing! They even have michiladas!

We love this place! The margaritas are great, and the food is awesome! I can even modify a dish to my preferences!

Love it here! Staff is friendly & attentive! Food is always delicious, always greeted with a welcoming hello & even to-go service/food are great! 10/10 recommend. My local go-to spot for a great meal!

Update : Owner reached out to apologize for our experiencing very poor service twice.. Was told to come in and get meal on them. Went for lunch menu as this is small business and did not want to cost a large amount. Our order was placed and arrived at our table in less than 15 minutes. Owner was very nice and professional and promised a meeting with the staff. The food was hot and delicious and staff was on point today.
Thank you for reaching out to make this right. It is much appreciated. So I can now change my star rating to a much deserved five and have removed prior review as this was addressed and corrected.

This restaurant was a nice surprise! My son moved to this area a few months ago & this was a closer restaurant than driving to my favorite Mexican restaurant in Nashville. It was a clean restaurant & service staff was friendly. Our food came fast. Although it was lunch time, the place wasn't crowded, but considering it was "off the beaten path", it was a good place to eat. Will definitely go there again, if I'm up that way.

Great food and service as always, and the entertainment on Tuesday and Thursday is awesome. You need to check out Billy Hardwick Jr., he is great!

Solid and reliable Mexican food and service.

I've never had a bad experience here. The food comes fast, prepared perfectly, and cheap. It's the same menu as the rest. It's authentic which you can easily tell when you walk in the door. Practice your Spanish here if you like.

The parking is rough, so if you use the back know that you have to come out the way you go in. I probably would avoid parallel parking that narrow gap on the right. I use Applebee's lot most of the time. It's only full on game days.

I ordered take out and had a burrito in my order. When I got home I thought that I'd just received the sides and not my burrito. When I called the manager was friendly and told me they'd make a replacement, no problem. Turned out that my first burrito was simply hiding under all of the toppings/sides. Great service (even when the customer is at fault) and good food.

Good food at good prices. Cheaper than other Mexican restaurants around. Cheese dip is great, salsa is ok. Difficult to get in the front entrance with a wheelchair but there is a steep ramp. Very timely and friendly but professional service.

They’ve had their ups and downs but they’re currently, and for about a year now, my favorite Mexican restaurant without going to Nolensville Pike. Their menu is extensive, service is friendly and accurate (and they will actually substitute and customize as you specify if you ask), and anything you order is definitely what you hoped for. Tip them well, many of the employees there have been there for a while and they are great at their job and will appreciate your satisfaction. 10/10

My family and I drove through the area looking for houses and we came across this restaurant. This place is a hidden gem! The food is CHEAP and DELICIOUS! The staff is super friendly and the manager came and talked with us for a few minutes! Definitely will be back

We are new to town and have been to El Monte 3 times. Every time we have gotten consistently excellent food and service! It's quick, authentic, and very tasty. We are looking forward to becoming regulars!

Great food! Great staff! You can call ahead, which is awesome. They are very clean, and always super fast. The food is always very good, and they are not too pricey! Great spot for Mexican food. Also, they have the outdoor seating which is fabulous!
