Time after time, the principle has singled out my daughter and made inappropriate comments at very inappropriate times. She has tried to talk me into putting my daughter into alternative school when she had hardly been in any trouble and the reasons for being in the trouble in the first place were insane. One example being- My daughter said she was in trouble once for the type of pants she was wearing when several girls around her were wearing the same and nothing was said to them. Matter of fact, When I drop her off at school, I see that type of pants on all the girls. I know the dress code and my daughter wasn't breaking any rules with what she had on or with anything else she ever wears to school. The principal obviously targets certain students and my daughter isn't the only one. There are many other things I could bring up here but it'd take half the day. I thought there was no tolerance for bullying. Clearly not.

My grand-son has attend WJMS since 6th grade. Now, as an 8th grader, he is a great athlete, good student and has only had 3 incidents with the administrators. Two of those incidences happened outside of school hours. One, early in the school year, he copied another's paper and had to re-do, got points taken off and earned 10 demerits. Then, he was in the locker room before school as directed by the coaches, to put gear in the locker room before classes. Others were doing the same thing. Some were selected by the principal and written up. Two boys actually avoided write up. One hid and avoided detection and the other told on the ones in the locker room. Again, 10 demerits despite doing what he was supposed to and there is a sign on the door that no teachers were allowed in except coaches. Finally, he was waiting for his ride outside of school, after school hours. He put his earphones in and took out his IPOD to listen to music. He was taken back into school and written up. Another 10 point demerits. Now, he is barred from going on a school trip. A sign on the principal's door says less than 30 points get to go. When the demerits are awarded it 10's, how do you get less than 30? The boys think the principal dislikes them. She goes tot he girls' games, not the boys'. Coach has told the boys they have a target on their back so they need to be very careful. Sad, these boys feel bullied by the administration. My daughter called the director who said she needed to address her concerns to the principal. She has done that, but his treated like she is radical. The principal didn't even look at my daughter when they were both in a public forum. Several parents of the boys' ball team, are writing letters to the state director. It is sad. We tell the kids to not bully. But the the administrators do. There are many more incidents that have taken place unfairly, but I am concerned that a kid like my grand-son are bullied. He can't go on the trip. No real big deal. But he is afraid of his principal and dislikes WJMS as a whole. I have two other grand-children who will be attending WJMS. I just hope that the administration will re-look some of the things they write kids up for. I hope the principal treats boys and girls athletics alike. There have been other problems with the admin and the athletic department. What a shame.

Was told repeatedly to remove nails and clothing and shoes of mine because I’m a boy so I’m not allowed to wear those things the principal has threatened to call my mom multiple times when she knows my situation at home she is a truly terrible person and out cast me in all of my friends
