North Shore Jazzercise

If you love to dance but also want some strength sprinkled in for a well rounded workout, North Shore Jazzercise is perfect for you. It has been for me. The music is a blend of top 40s and throwback hits, routines are fun and the instructors are great at cueing. Even if you think you can’t dance, it’s a great workout option just to get moving. No judgment in the air. Plus, they also give low impact options too. Katie, the owner, is fantastic. She has navigated through this pandemic flawlessly, adapting to an amazing online livestream system at times or outdoor classes. Working out has become fun with Jazzercise!

The owner, Katie Kuehl, and her associate instructors have been working tirelessly to provide outdoor classes (weather dependent) as well as online classes during the pandemic. In addition to the North Shore Jazzercise class schedule, my membership allows me to take additional online classes with Jazzercise, Inc. I truly appreciate the variety and the ease of logging on any time of day. All the instructors are positive, energetic, and knowledgeable.

I loved it from my very first class almost two years ago. The instructors are amazing. So friendly and patient and non judgmental. The members are also great. So friendly and welcoming - whether you know them or not. Always a smile! No one really looks at you while you are exercising so you never have to feel uncomfortable if you miss a step or can’t do something. No one judges you. I looked forward to going every time and now that we are unable to meet in person, I still participate on Facebook 5 days a week. If I miss the time, the classes are still accessible for a couple of days afterwards and I can exercise at my convenience.

I have developed much more stamina and strength and much better balance since joining and I hope to be a member for many years to come.

Kudos to Katie, out fearless leader, for making this work while respecting the rules to keep us all safe during COVID.
