The park is massive and open. There is a play area for the little children separate from the bigger kids. There is multiple shaded and covered areas as well as a pavilion with tables bathrooms and water fountains. They have a sandy area with a volleyball setup. There is a very nice and clean water fountain area to look at as well as huge areas of grass to have a picnic or a game with the family or run your dog around without ever being in anyone else's way. It is well maintained and clean. I recommend here for a day to get out and play. The potential is limitless here for any activities.

This is a hidden gem in a nice neighborhood! I like to come to Legacy Park for a walk and to grab a latte or an ice cream from Chestnut Coffee (a place next to the park). Nice paved loop trail, restrooms available and some benches if you just want to relax and read a book. Beautiful landscape and pond with a fountain. There is a playground for children and covered picnic area. Always plenty of parking spots.

Was looking for a new place to walk my dogs. This is a perfect spot since they aren't all day hikers. Also noticed Chestnut coffee across the street. We'll come back and try that as well!

One of my favorite parks in the area if I am not trying to play disc golf. They have a volleyball court and playground. Great park for afternoon picnics with the family or afternoon walks around the asphalt path. The loop is a nice walk with a pond on the bottom side of the park and plenty of open grass for frisbee or football. 10/10.

Legacy Park is a beautifully hidden piece of nature between Verdae boulevard and Woodruff Road. It has nice walking paths that follow the rolling hills of manicured grass. Lots of large trees dot the park with shade. If you want to stop and take in the view, benches and swings can be found scattered through out the area. At one end of the park is a duck pond, while the other has a large playground and bathrooms. It's a great place to get away from the busyness of the day and relax.

I read online that this park was made to imitate New York's central park. An oasis in the middle of a busy place. As someone who moved here from NYC 4 years ago, I was intrigued.

Set very close to Woodruff and Haywood roads, I had no idea that this beautiful escape was hiding in the middle of the busyness of the world, similar to Central Park.

Plenty of sun and shade, water features and rolling hills, beautiful paths and places to sit and relax. Such a wonderful place to just take a break. Watch the sky, the fountains, feel the breeze and the sun, see people of all ages (and their canine friends) enjoy what the park has to offer.

I must admit that I only saw a small corner of the park. I set up in my camp chair under some trees at one end of the park. But I was utterly amazed. What a great place to spend a beautiful Saturday.

Lovely park with two different playgrounds, several swing sets, rope climbing apparatus, water features and fountains. Loads of trees and open grass space. Also a covered bathroom area. It’s a good location near Woodruff Rd, Laurens Rd, and Haywood Mall.

My child loves playing here!

Absolutely beautiful park! Great paved trail to walk on or ride bikes, pretty fountains, trees. Quiet and a lot of green space! Two playgrounds for little ones and big ones. Wood chips, small playground is fenced in. Big playground has a couple areas where little ones could easily fall through from high up, so keep a good eye on the toddlers! Love it.

Very safe park with nice amenities. They have a grill and gazebo area, a playground, a sand volleyball court, bike racks, streams, a pond, and plenty of tree cover.

The only main thing they're lacking is a basketball court, though, knowing the people who live round here, nobody can probably dripple more than two feet anyways.

There is also a free books post, thought it is fairly deprecated. The water fountain is also deprecated in this area as well.

Nice park with lots of open green space. There's a walking trail that goes around the whole park, two playgrounds (one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids), a volleyball court, a pavilion with picnic tables, and restrooms. The restrooms were a little dingy, but other than that this is a really nice park that's well kept up.

This is a great place for an outdoor event. We had a large rock gazebo for the graduation party. There are plenty of tables and chairs for everyone.

One of our favorite toddler play areas in Greenville. It's fenced in and offers a play set, as well as two baby swings, a bouncy bike, and plenty of benches for parents to sit. There is also a play area for older kids. When my two are more in a wandering mood the park is expansive with tons of grassy areas and sidewalks. There's a large field for picnics and several swinging benches to sit and take in the scenery. There's a volleyball court and a covered pavilion (with grills) as well.

Had a wedding at this location. The Gazebo makes a good shelter and seating area for 90 people. Beautiful backdrop for the wedding and photos.
I have attached a "to scale" seating chart anyone can use for a wedding.
We also set up a 10 by 20 canopy adjacent to the gazebo. Also the picnic tables can be placed outside the Gazebo and make a perfect area for the reception.

Great place for the family.
2 separate playgrounds, one for the older kids and a smaller playground just for younger kids and toddlers.
There are swings, slides, and even a big rope/web climbing jungle gym for the older kids.
