B's Salty & Sweet

Ok, so they make these Adult Poptarts with chorizo and cheese. They also make classic fruit ones too. Not like the ones you get at the grocer! They have a flaky butter crust and amazing filling and its worth going there just for them. But their muffins, coffee and everything else is dynamite too. Great place.

This place just keeps getting better and better. The new items they've rotated through their menu in the last year or so have all been absolutely top-notch, and their coconut bacon is unlike anything I've had before, just out of this world. The tahini coffee is a revelation! I was so pleased to get my non-vegetarian coworkers to try B's today, and everyone loved it! So glad we have this place in our community.

We had the breakfast burrito and avocado toast.

The breakfast burrito was small but delicious. Avocado toast was just the right amount of portions. They make most of their in house which was great.

B’s will not disappoint! They recently added coffee, and it’s SO good, it could be their main thing! They’re knocking the coffee and pastries out of the park! Yum. I got an Americano which was so flavorful and satisfying. Also got an almond croissant which was a tasty encounter with flakiness!

Located in the Factory at Columbia, what a great place with fresh baked goods and a flavorful lunches. They offer a rotating lunch menu and different bread flavors during the week. When I stopped in they had a creamy mushroom soup (made with cashew cream), which was fantastic and so fresh, served with a garlic knot and a salad that had some of the best lemon vinaigrette dressing I have ever had. I would buy it in a bottle it was so good. They have space to eat inside and watch the bakery in motion or get it to go.

Of course when you go to a bakery you have buy cookies and bread too. I got seven different flavors of cookies and each was delicious, but my top two favorites were the triple ginger and peanut butter. All the cookies were moist and so flavorful. I also bought a loaf of the country sourdough bread and they sliced it for me. Perfect for sandwiches or toasted with breakfast. It was a denser bread, but I loved the flavor toasted with my eggs at breakfast the next day. Definitely want to try the chocolate babka soon and the muffins looked very inviting. Basically I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you get here. Check out the menu, there are muffins, pop tarts, bagels, cookie bars, cupcakes, and more.

The staff was very friendly and overall I would say the food and bakery items are top notch. They also have vegan options so there is something for everyone and you can pre-order online too. Definitely a great place to go for a fresh flavorful food! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I have just found this place in the last couple of months. I have had their bakery goods which are outstanding. The carrot cake muffins are so delicious as are the chocolate crossants. My husband loves the poptarts. I want to try their breakfast sandwiches soon. They make both vegan and regular items for all their entrees and sandwiches. Dave the owner is always friendly and stops to talk. Family business which I love supporting!

The food is sooo delicious. I go for the homemade pop tarts and they are a treat. Coffee was delicious and so was the friendly customer service.

B’s is the best! I’m always amazed at the selection of pastries and meals they have prepared each week. All baked goods are to die for. I am not a vegan but had to eat dairy free for a time and was blown away by the tasty meals they create that are vegan! Love this place so much!

Oh, man! I ordered a cookie platter that looked absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I couldn’t sample the cookies myself as they were a gift, but while I was picking them up the croissants in the display caught my eye. The pain au chocolat was out of this world—such a beautiful flaky, chewy texture with the perfect balance of buttery, bitter, chocolatey goodness. I will be stopping by this place any time I head down to Columbia!

Healthiest bakery ever!
Delicious, healthful lunch. This place has a wonderful variety of healthy options - hearty grain or sourdough bread, lots of veggie options. Sandwiches or salads. Soft, chewy cookies.

I love this place! In defense of the darker bread loaves that a previous reviewer so rudely commented upon without reaching out to the bakery first...I think B's sourdough is fabulous. I am an off-and-on sourdough bread baker myself, and a beautiful, caramelized, and yes, dark (some might say charred-looking) crust is what we aspire to--it's not easy to do in a home oven!

I have purchased a number of things from B's (all delicious) but today, I brought home lunch: vegetarian chili, garden salad, and a peanut butter cookie. Everything was delicious (that creamy cilantro dressing--oh my goodness!) and high quality. I don't say that lightly. I used to own a high-end bakery/cafe/ catering business (in another state), so I can be picky about things.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to write a long-overdue review. :)

I often think how much easier things would be had I had the Internet (like we have today ) when I had my business, but I also know how rough it must be to deal with careless reviewers who don't think about the ramifications of what they are writing to the world. It's common sense to reach out to a business first if you encounter an issue — it will usually get resolved. I am sorry that happened to you, but you can see by the number of 5 star reviews, that you've got this!

I enjoyed visiting this cute place in the Columbia Factory! They have good savory and sweet pastries. I would encourage you to try it!

If I could give B’s more stars I would. I have genuinely loved everything I’ve tried there. I’m always impressed by how well they succeed at so many different things! Their dairy free ice cream is unbeatable. Their donuts are probably the best Ive ever had (and I don’t say that lightly), their lunches, breakfasts, are all superb. The staff is kind and so helpful. They’ll always be able to count on us as #1 fans!

The worst thing about B’s Salty & Sweet is that there is literally nothing wrong with B’s Salty & Sweet. The food is always knocked-out-of-park amazing, the people are always so incredibly kind and friendly. Truly there is no fault. I have zero fear in trying a new baked good, menu meal item, pantry offering like their granola or crackers, or beverage options because I have never tasted food or drinks that are anything less than 5 star quality. I also learned recently that their ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and the owners make efforts to have vegan and vegetarian options. There is truly something for everyone.

Can’t say enough great things about this place, they are always super positive and helpful. I have yet to have anything here I didn’t enjoy, the food is outstanding and the ambiance is cozy!!

This place is so cool! It's the comfiest, most relaxing environment, and the food is to die for. We got a fresh, warm cinnamon roll and almond croissant along with lattes, but we had to leave with a morning bun and savory pop tart for the following morning because it was all so good. We had the best service here at B's, and we appreciate it. Everybody needs to come check out this place! The Factory at Columbia is very cool.

We LOVE this place!! We’ve gotten a cake (soo good), lunch (also good), and some single baked goods. Everything was amazing! Love that they have gluten free and dairy free options, too.

B’s is a beacon of baking brilliance. We love them so much and wish them so much success. Establishments like these are what make Columbia such a magical place to be. Currently making a sundries tomato garlic bread out of there gorgeous focaccia at a dinner party. Long live Bs!!!!
