Merit Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care

We partnered with Merit Memorial when my dear friend's son suddenly passed away. They were terrific to work with and helped to ensure we had a beautiful memorial for their family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for every text, phone call, and email you quickly responded to!

We can not thank Owen and the team at Merit for their compassion, direction and commitment to helping our family at such a tragic time in our lives. Our sweet Jordan lost his life in a car accident and after calling several places that were giving us the run around or wanting to charge way more then we were prepared for, we came across Merit and we are so incredibly blessed that we did. We worked with Owen who walked us through the entire process as if we were the most important clients she had. She would answer emails and texts and guided us through the entire process which allowed us to take care of so many other aspects. We are forever grateful for their professionalism, commitment, direction and compassion.

After loss of my nephew, we were mourning and unsure of where to even begin with planning a funeral. Owen and the team at Merit Memorial were phenomenal! Not only did they put our minds at ease with explaining the process, but they were so compassionate and kind as we chipped away little by little at the work needing to be done on our end. The hardest day of my life was putting my sweet boy to rest and Owen and the Merit team made it a little bit easier with the help, compassion, communication and kindness that I received. Merit Memorial was the best funeral service that could have been a part of our Beautiful Matriarch's homegoing. They made the experience super easy and was with us every step of the way. Wow the service we received was amazing. Marisol did a great job. When I arrived at Merit to set up for my brother's memorial she had everything set up and it was awesome. I know my brother would be so happy with the rock n roll
touches she added and that guitar 🎸 was the perfect touch. My brother was a lover of music and Marisol listened to what I had to say about my brother and she went with it. I recommend Merit Memorial for your funeral services.

We held my mother’s visitation and funeral at Merit, Bryan and his staff are stand up employees with outstanding customer service. I'm very impressed with the service that I received from Merit Memorial. My husband passed away on Jan 3, 2021 and Owen did an amazing job coordinating and putting everything together. Owen and Brian went above and beyond to make sure that I got everything that I wanted for my husband's service. They are the most compassionate, kind and friendly people that I have ever met. My family and I were very pleased with the service received by Merit Memorial. The price was reasonable and we had a really beautiful service. We are especially grateful for all the assistance and support we received from Denise. She really did go above and beyond, she answered all our questions and eased our concerns with compassion always making us feel comfortable. Our process was more complex as our grandmother's last wish was to be buried in Mexico, but thru it all Denise made sure all the processes moved as quickly as possible and with as little involvement from our family as possible. Her help allowed us to focus more on our grieving and gain more peace and for that we are forever grateful!

In an extraordinarily difficult time, Merit has been so supportive and wonderful to my family. When my father was a hospice patient, Brian patiently described the process and cost to me, making sure to answer questions that were specific to my family’s plans for a service in another state. When my father passed, the team was so kind to our entire family and, in truth, were the only ones we interacted with on that day who treated my father’s remains with true respect while caring for our family members. Merit personalized our experience and worked hard to communicate everything with us in a professional, timely and empathetic manner. Shiloah was a gem and consistently demonstrated compassion and knowledge while answering my questions. She even arranged to have my father’s ashes and death certificates delivered directly to my mother’s home to make this experience easier. I cannot imagine feeling more supported and cared for during this difficult time and we are all so thankful to Shiloah, Brian and the entire Merit team.

Merit Memorial was a Godsend for our family when my father recently passed. We had never been through the process of planning funeral services. Bryan and Denise guided us through this most difficult time with care and concern. Bryan handled all of the arrangements at the DFW National Cemetery for my father’s burial with Military Honors. It was beautiful. We were able to send him off in the manner in which he deserved and would have been proud of. Mom was very pleased and could not have asked for anything better. Merit Memorial is now our place of choice for when life brings us back full circle, but more importantly Bryan, Denise and staff are now considered part of our family as we are a part of theirs.

I am not surprised that Merit Memorial has 5 stars all across the board. The Merit Memorial team provides an amazing service and they are beyond helpful, in particular Denise and Crystal. These ladies were very supportive and comforting during this difficult time. I have attended many funerals and there is not one funeral home that can compare to Merit. My husband passed away after spending several months in the hospital and we were all exhausted. I can't say enough nice things about Merit Memorial. They were an answer to prayer. Not only did they take great care of us, they treated us like family. Owen was the best! I will never forget all she did to make my husband's passing easier. The funeral was a beautiful day of celebration and the price was affordable. They are very sweet people who bless you at a time when you really need it.

They are all such professional and caring people, and Amy is a breath of fresh air whose bright personality brings you a little bit of joy even during a very hard time.
