Nuevo Leon Mex-Mex Restaurant

Everything was incredible! From the homemade jalapeño rellenos to the jalapeño margaritas. My wife couldn’t decide between 2 dishes, so the waitress off 2 halves - pollo chipotle and pollo florentine. I had the chimichanga marinara with a nice cream sauce. Next time (and there definitely will be one) we’ll leave room for dessert.

This place is so good!! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Amazing experience from the time we entered to the time we left. We ordered the Chili con Carne queso to start and it was very tasty. Loved the salsa (which is served warm)—- new to me but I absolutely loved it. We also ordered the brisket tacos (delicious) and sour cream enchiladas! Both entrees were very tasty!! Definitely recommend this place!!!

Finally tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I’m so glad we did!! The food was absolutely delicious. There’s lots to choose from so I already have ideas for what I’ll try next time. The vibe was also very relaxing and laid back and the staff was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend trying the shrimp flautas if you like seafood! Can’t wait to go back!

Local, old school farmers branch spot. Food is amazing! The jalapeno relleno is dish delish! Think jalapeño poppers but more homemade. It wasnt busy on a Monday. So non busy places make me nervous but that just meant the service was better for this place. Almost like a hidden gem.

Enchiladas and tamales were both great. Service is great. Cool paintings and laid back atmosphere. Definitely going to be a regular spot for me and the family.

The food is Amazing, Authentic… The salsa Wowwww and warm … Put some heat lamps and lights out there for the fall because I am just finding you guys and I will be there every week… I like outdoor eating lol

Delicious food! I especially love the steak with ham and cheese wrapped inside (forget the name of the dish). Maggie the owner is incredibly sweet and goes above and beyond to serve the community! Eat here and support local business!

First time getting to dine in. Love family restaurants.
The place is cozy and cute. They have a big menu and it was really hard to choose. Started with a margarita and a Clarita (sprite and beer) delicious. Queso was perfect, the entrees were delicious, savory, perfect amount. Definitely coming back to work my way through the menu!

Birria tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Very good customer service and fast. Top-notch Mexican food.

Food was amazing,tortillas were perfect, not too greasy and fries were good, Churros were a good thing, they really surprised me, Amazing food and great service

Best al pastor Street tacos I've had in a long time! Very filling with alot of meat. Maggie and Freddy where very accommodate and take great pride in the food they serve. 10/10 for sure! Everything was reasonably priced and the lights on the patio set the perfect atmosphere for a nice quiet date night!

The Farmers Branch Chamber of Commerce just had an Ambassadors meeting that Nuevo Leon catered. As always, AMAZING food! We cannot recommend Nuevo Leon enough and we love Maggie!

This was our first time to eat at Nuevo León Mex-Mex, but not the last! This is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant, which shouldn’t be a surprise since the Mex Mex is in the name. From the margaritas to the queso and every entree we had, the flavors were fresh and authentic. They have a long list of margaritas and a surprisingly large vegetarian menu. Everything was delicious! We also received great service from the wait staff. Definitely worth the trip, I’d highly recommend Nuevo León Mex-Mex Restaurant!
