Always very helpful. I am amazed with the level of customer service at this location. I have been to other ACE Hardware locations and the younger generation of associates need to learn a lesson on how to assist customers. This location is at the TOP of my list.

Keigan was a great help guiding me to the lazy Susan. I would’ve been down every aisle w/o him. Yessenia (I’m sorry if I remember wrong) was sweet also offering me a rewards card. Being a new DIY’er I look forward to using those rewards and being treated like a pro although I am a beginner!! Keep up the great work!

This place has a little bit of everything. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This is my first stop when I need something for the shop in an emergency.

I recently had to tricky-to-repair pre-existing poorly installed sprinkler valve. Cliff was a wealth of information and very willing to share his ideas for a solution. Thank you Cliff!!! You were spot on and everything is working now.

These guys are great! They are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, always offer new ideas that you may not have thought of. The manager, Jose Valdez, is very engaged in every aspect of his store. from scheduling, inventory, product placement, & supporting his staff, Jose is very involved & connected! I was assisted by an associate named Frank. He walked around the store with me to make it easier for me to locate what I needed. He also offered several suggestions to solve my issue, that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. This store is a refreshing change from the bigger home improvement stores, & they stock those unique, hard to find items! You'll love this place!

Ace IS the place with the helpful hardware folks! Dan, Terry, and (I hope I remembered this right) Jacob were seriously so friendly and went above and beyond to help this girl find washer and dryer connections on a budget lol. I can’t say how much I appreciate their time and help :) two thumbs way up and 5 stars ⭐ for this crew!

Very helpful staff. Had the butane I needed for my Zippo lighters (wick type & dual arc type). Did not have the flints...but those are very hard to find in brick & mortar stores. Very pleased with my visit.

Monzerrat was super nice and helpful, she stayed with me the whole time and made sure I got everything I needed. I’ve been here a few times and I always look for her for the best service.

Sure, it cost a little bit more than Home Depot, but the knowledgeable, friendly staff and the good selection keeps me coming there first. They have people working there for as long as I've lived in Farmers Branch... Around 14 years.

A really special place for all of your BBQ needs, whatever kind of equipment or style you use. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Prices are competitive. And while you're there, you can get keys made, find a new collar for your pet, buy kitchen shears... my favorite place to spend time shopping.

This hardware store is full of inventory- not quite as diverse with one-of-a-kind items like the old "Turner Hardware". The staff is knowledgeable and were extremely helpful- they even spent a great amount of time looking on line to see if they could help me locate a specific product- turned out that product is no longer manufactured. Good pricing on tall paper yard bags. And they made keys in a timely manner. Much better experience than a big box hardware store.

Very helpful as always! The sales people looking to help you out! Refreshing compares to Home Depot, where people tend to be out of sights. That's why I try to stay away from Home Depot.

Love this store! Many hard to find items with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. My favorite section of the store is the fastener aisle. There are literally hundreds of drawers, offering a wide variety of screws, bolts, nails and more; plus other hardware items from knobs to springs. A selection you won't find at the big box, home centers.

Now Ace isn't known for its low prices, but they are competitive with the big guys on many items. Even though they might be slightly higher than said "big guys", they provide a level of service you won't find many other places - and that's worth paying for. There is unfortunately no lumber yard or huge selection of building materials. But as the name implies they're a "hardware" store and in that category, they win hands down.

My only complaint is that I wish this store was bigger.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The manager went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with an online order. He also let me come in and buy a new faucet, ours just disintegrated, 2 minutes after closing time on a Sunday.
As far as price goes, they wanted less than Home Depot and Amazon for something I needed,(by about $8.00).
