Lately we’ve been having vehicle problems with both our cars. Texas family auto has been our go to for car repairs. They’ve diagnosed, repaired and fairly priced us every visit. Miss Gloria, Mr. Juan and Mr. Caesar have been very helpful! I highly recommend them. They are reasonable, friendly and professional.

I needed help with my car and it was quickly diagnosed they told me the car was fine, they found out that the previous car shop I went to changed my car battery but it was loose I I was so thankful I found this shop, il be back again..

UPDATE: I had an emergency today where a spark plug was misfiring. I had a truck full of kids ready to go on an excursion and the truck started shaking -- engine light, etc. I dropped in to see if they could help and they were able to fix it and have us on our way within 15 minutes. Truck ran smoothly and were able to get to our destination after all and for a certain reasonable price. Thank you Tex Family for saving the day! :)

We've had good experiences here so far. Their prices are good and they are honest about what does and doesn't need to be done.

I don't usually give out five stars. The service I received here really earned it. First of all, the basic stuff. I had a problem; paid them; they took care of it. I got exactly my money's worth, what I paid for, however you want to call it. For that service I would normally give 3 stars. That's good. These guys really took the time to show me what was wrong with the van. I already knew what was wrong. They were very honest about their pricing and managing customer expectations and everything. Furthermore the team there was friendly and hospitable to my dog. I brought my dog and it was just a great time for everyone. Now I wasn't an obnoxious dog owner about it before everyone starts thinking this place is a doggy day care. I took him for a walk outside and didn't bother. We made appointments and the guys here took care of everything. Really helped me out with getting some work done while I waited.

Especially nice for me was they were able to easily work on my 30+ year old Toyota van without giving me any BS about older vehicles being special or impossible to work on. Or trying to add on fees or extra hours for labor. They were honest with me. I didn't have any issues with them and the prices are better or fairly competitive with most of the bigger name auto shops in the area. Hey, sometimes you don't have a lift in your own garage. I trust this team for that kind of work. Good job guys.

I've been going to this shop for the past 5 years. Juan the business owner is nice, honest and straightforward. They have added a new guy to the team and his name is Alex. He's really upped the game of this shop since he is always on top of his game. Alex is attentive, ethical and always keeps you up to date on the status of your vehicle and how to repair at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop and thank Alex for making the place super efficient.

There is no way to describe what an outstanding shop this is. Probably the best, most competent, and definitely the fastest mechanic I've ever dealt with. These guys are amazing. And very reasonable on their rates. I had to replace a motor in 2007 Dodge, and he had it ready to go within *one* day! Amazing. And the car runs better than it ever has. Go here. Don't even bother trying anybody else. Really - they are that good.

Another service, My back wheel fell off on the interstate. Drum caliper and lug nuts and the post for them were all sheared off and gone. June will have the car ready tomorrow less than 24 hours to fix everything. These guys are good. Really good.

I get my car in the morning. I am so ready to have my wheels again!!

Great place to take your car. Jesse is the best. Everything was good but I would have like that he communicated that the alignment could not have been done because of other parts that needed to be changed. I would have bought the parts and took them to him. I am extremely satisfied though and will be taking all my cars in to him and refer people to him. Great place, honest prices, friendly staff!

Great team working here at texas family auto. Was having major heating problems with my car and was surprisingly able to get my vehicle checked out and worked on with quickness and ease. Special shout-out to crew member alex for helping me out and making sure I knew exactly what was going wrong. Also pointed out problems I didn’t even know my car had. Great and friendly environment here. 10/10 experience.

My guy alex was amazing. He took good care of me from the 1st time I called until I left. I had the black charger on 11-20-21. He explained my problem sent me pictures. I felt well taken care of. Thank you Alex. 5 star 5star

This place has always been fair and honest with me and my family. They have saved me hundreds of dollars by finding parts to keep me on the road. What would take Firestone 8 hours they do in 2 for a fourth of the money. Highly recommend the manager and his family for all of their services. These guys hustle.

1st time coming here new to area “Alex” was very professional straight forward made me feel comfortable leaving my car with him, very informative in letting you know what was wrong because alot of auto places will scam you first chance they get he got to vehicle within timely manner had it fixed and running good the next day !
