Goodwill Houston Select Store & Donation Center

I love this store.
For the most part, good quality clothing.
It’s separated by color, not size—so that’s a little difficult to go through.
But, big selection and clean.
Fun music playing.
Easy to try on clothes.
Good selection for women.
My mate didn’t feel that way for men’s clothes. And, he really didn’t like that it was sorted by colors, not sizes.
Be sure to check out their daily deals — as they change — daily. Look for the color that’s discounted that day.
Didn’t look at anything except clothes.

This super is definitely a different vibe from a lot of the ones around Houson that I’ve been to. I donate here ask the time, but never come inside. I needed some pants for work. I was heading to a different site but saw people walking in so I stopped at Goodwill and my son and I get to the door, walk in, & they had some featured items up front, including furniture and a BIG sign about becoming an ambassador! Now I had to scan the QR code and follow the instructions to get more info. As I browsed this clean and well organized store, I was filling out my survey. I found 3 of what I came for and a bunch more!! If you’re a creator of any kind or just creative by nature and can take the time to browse the aisles for lil’ WINS…they’re here at the Jones Rd location. I got a total of 13 items, some brand new from the register aisles for only $37 🤩! The manager on duty came to the rescue almost immediately when he was called to the counter and his hospitality was above and beyond. And to top it all off, I just looked at the receipt and the name of the kind young man that checked me out is the same as my son that was kind from in the cart (Josiah795)! 🥰 It’s the simple things in life & this Goodwill store was definitely a #vibe! Blessings come in all forms and this least minute stop that wasn’t expected, turned into a great one!! 🙏🏾❤💯

This Goodwill store has really improved over the last six months or so. New management was brought in and cleaned up what had become a disorganized and dirty mess. After communicating with Corporate about the conditions of the facility and the attitude of the employees, it wasn’t long before significant changes began to take place. I think the Corporate Offices want to know about problems customers face within the stores. It’s imperative that they know what is going on so report things that are significantly out of line with professionalism and cleanliness. (Especially in this extremely challenging time w/Covid 19, etc.) Corporate has always been attentive to my emails and phone calls. I believe they want their customers to have a pleasant shopping experience and that their employees provide a professional, courteous and friendly environment. If the problems in any particular store are not reported there is absolutely nothing that can be done to change it. Remember, if you don’t report it....it didn’t happen. So true. Thank you Goodwill Corporate for making the Jones Rd.store a fun place to shop again!

I buy stuff there all the time, found some great items! I've never seen a rude goodwill worker at any of their stores! But some rude customers and people who steals from a Goodwill Store! Give me a break! What do you need? 2 dollars?? As far as prices? Are concern I defy anyone finding better prices especially on old man's day! 25% off for 55 and older! I'm addicted to Goodwill and buying other people's junk! Hold me I'm scared! CMTFU !
