Pickrell Park

Great location for big events. The big pavilion has a kitchen that you can prepare meals. They also have an outdoor pool and kids pool. Both look nice and clean

Very very pleased this park exists here and not more homes built on top of it.

Beautiful park with lots of mature trees and a variety of play / open areas.

Beautiful fireworks display every 4th of July. Usually about 30 minutes. Lots of activities, carnival, and food trucks. The live music this year (2021) was fantastic!!!

It's nice to have a park and have a really nice playground for the kids to burn energy and run amok plenty of space to hang out lotsa pavilions to get out of the sun clean bathrooms too loved it

Great environment to play some pick up basketball, bring the children to swim or just grab some fresh air! Cheers! 🍾

Great place for our Boot Camp. " On the Go Personal Training"

This is definitely a great pool. They do allow you to bring your own chairs and shade tents. Plenty of life guards on duty. They have a nice water slide and great pool size with a small toddler pool as well.

Definitely one of the better parks in my opinion. One of my personal favorites anyway. They do a great firework show for 4th of July Jubilee, attended an Asian festival here recently, they also have a covered pavilion basketball court, and then the city pool is right across the parking lot! Awesome job Schertz!! Thanks!! Keep up the great work

This park is really beautiful and my son loves to play there.

Large area! Plenty of playgrounds for children. Paved walking trail/sidewalk. Lawn Well kept however some trees could be trimmed. Nice for any family picnics or cookouts.

4th of July fireworks show was AMAZING. They had multiple choices of food vendors, great band/music that kept everything fun and festive. Highly recommend. Only down side. The bathrooms were DISGUSTING!!! I wont gross you out with the details but im sure you can imagine. Thousands of people and unmanaged facilities. Its was gross.

This park is great for a quick play time, or a bbq picnic. Also out host a plethora of events.

I go for long walks with my puppy. And sit at that bench pictured here because of the shade. Not too many people. You will see picnic tables and you can bar-b-que, play basketball in another area. Poopy bag stand located in the park. You will see the Air Force planes fly over. Enjoy your walk in the park.

This place is a really nice park! They have a great pavilion for parties and entertainment too. They also have pretty clean restrooms.

Love to take my lunch and sit at the picnic tables while jets are taking off and/or landing at Randolph. The park is always neat and clean, with several eating areas and lots of room to play.

Allowing our mutts to swim the last day the pool was open was great. Our dogs had never been in a pool before.

Great spot for the family event. Bigger events can be accomplished from what we saw after arriving. Lots of space to spread out and AC in bathrooms makes it above most outdoor park places. Will definitely use for all out door events.

Pickleball on Tuesdays 10 - 12 at the Pickrell Park main pavillion is a great time to get a workout and meet people. It's free and supported by the park and rec team.

Went for the 4th of July celebration!!!! Awesome!@!@ was close to the fireworks. There was a carnival, parade food trucks 🚚. Definitely going in 2024!
