Veterans Park

As a veteran, I am extremely proud to have this wonderful park in honor of all veterans. There is a great park for children to enjoy, a 4 mile trail (2 miles out and back), and pavillions for special occasions.

Very nice park!
So clean and everything is maintained well.
They have nice grills. We can make reservations for the spots.

This place is perfect. There is plenty of space for a lot of kids to play without stepping on each other. There are lots of shaded areas and a great place to walk on the paved trail. There is even an adult circuit course for a workout.

Outstanding community park that our kids enjoy! Great for all ages and plenty of seating and covered areas for a nice day at the park. 🇺🇲

Had a fun 5k through the park. It is quite the hidden gem being so close to Randolph AFB. Perfect park for dog walking, picnic, and walking/running. The trails could be maintained a bit better but they are still very much acceptable. Thank you to the volunteers who take care of the park!

Beautiful and very clean. Near Randolph AFB so got to see a lot of planes flying nearby.

The new playground is a child's dream come true. They can slide, climb, hang & jump from item to item. Each child is a friend to the next, even if they've never met. One little girl that was playing with my grand kids; ran by with her hands in the air, screaming, "I have a friend!!!" It was so sweet and heartwarming it brought a tear to my eye.
Now, the reason for 4 stars. They have a horrible mosquito problem. I know there's a creek, but these were BAD!!
Secondly, the merry-go-round is a winner by the kiddo's of all ages!! Including myself at first. As they installed it so it is even with the ground. No more falling off. Just rolling. Such a clever idea, right? Not so much when you are about 12-18 months the parents are at the picnic table & she rolls off. The merry-go-round continues to spin as her head gets hit with the metal bar. All you could hear was, "waaaa thump waaa thump waaa thump".There has to be a correction to fix those bars, perhaps foam or a pool noodle? If you have little ones, please keep a close eye on them.

The park facilities are nice. There are picnic benches with grills. The trails are nice too. It's unfortunate to see so much litter on the trails.

It’s a nice park and as an added bonus you can see and hear many Jets coming in for landing.

Our Granddaughter and daughter loves it!!

I absolutely love this spot, very peaceful, people are friendly & respectful. Very kept up with I didn't see any trash around. There's parts that go off the trail & it's just so beautiful.

This park is amazing! Great place for kids and jogging! Has a pond and clean restrooms! Brand new playground!

It’s a small clean park BUT it is a trailhead to Cibolo Creek Trail which is awesome. You can walk almost 4 miles on the creek trail. Further if you cross the street at the end and do the loop at Red Horse Park. There is frisbee golf and dirt bike trails on the creek trail as well.

Beautifully maintained park right at the trail head. Plenty of shade or open space. Clean bathrooms and water fountains.

A very family and friendly park to enjoy with a new playground and picnic covered areas.

This is a great, walking, biking, disc golf park. The playground and facilities around to support. It have recently been updated. The kids always have a good time when we go to this park.

Mother loved to sit and watch the children play. I would walk the dog. The park is always clean and well maintained. There are bathrooms available.

This is my favorite hiking spot, leading to the Cibolo trails! The farther you walk the more treasures you find!
