Great stop on a road trip for two toddlers to run around and play! The brioche bun and brisket on the BBQ sandwich was amazing. Enjoyed the food a lot, would happily come back again if we’re in the area!

This place is just great! 10/10 for my husband and myself. The staff is friendly, service has been fast and food is amazing. But what really blew us away is the fact that the OWNER delivered our food!! He visited with us and tables all through the restaurant and we watched him fill ice for the bar and open/greet costumes coming in. That is rare and wonderful. Love this place and will be back again and again

Great upscale diner with excellent service and fun atmosphere

Varied selection of burgers so you can always find what you're craving. The drink menu is the same. My favorite is the mega stuffed potato with brisket. It literally makes three meals for me. My son always goes for the Mom's mac and cheese with brisket and I think my husband is determined to try every burger on their menu. They have an extensive selection of beers on tap as well. The quality of the food is very high and the wait staff is absolutely amazing. Always a favorite when we go to Stephenville.

The food here is amazing! Super fresh and they pay attention to details. The fire roasted salsa was the best salsa I’ve ever tried.. and I’m a salsa lover. Check out the veggies in that “vegan burger”. The brisket nachos are super loaded and flavorful as well. Sweet potato waffle fries are worth the up-charge. Mac and cheese was not my favorite part, but is still a pretty solid 8/10. Margaritas were great as well. Can’t say much about the service however.. at least not the day I went.
Side note; they call it a “vegan burger” but it is vegetarian unless you opt out of the cheese I suppose..

Great experience! Was greeted upon entrance and seated immediately. Service was great, our server was very attentive and he took the time to make sure we weren’t at any point in need of anything. We got the Brisket Taquitos as an appetizer and they were very delicious, ask for bbq sauce on the side, it was very flavorful and the burgers and fries were amazing. My husband really enjoyed the Jalapeño chili burger and I enjoyed the artisan burger. They have a great menu selection! We were both very satisfied with the whole experience! Highly recommend trying this place out! Also, just a super cool and neat atmosphere all around!

We showed up at 9:10 pm they close at 10pm. We were given a table and not frowned on as we came in at the time. Then, the server was doing all the last tables. ALCS game was on, we got our order in, and it wasnt long before our food appetizer arrived. Food was hot, salad looked good as fresh. Got the rest of our food, my steak was undercooked, but was able to send it back for a few more mins on grill. Came back great! Server was great and made sure our drinks were full. Over all one of my best times, Thank you, purple goat.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Definitely will return. The service was okay. Our appetizer was never entered in, so they took it off the bill. The Goat Burger was probably the best burger I've ever had.

Went for lunch. Cool, casual atmosphere. Must be hopping in the evening. Full bar and 30 beers on tap. Had the brisket plate, coleslaw and corn. All very tasty. Would recommend you give it a try.

First time visit with some friends, food and service were great and wasn't too busy when we were there.

Really enjoyed the food and service. Be aware it is a very busy place and quite noisy.

I had the waygu dog and it was so delicious. The onion rings were cooked perfectly. The service was the best, friendly, kind, courteous. I would definitely give the Purple Goat a try when you're in Stephenville!

The Purple Goat is a hidden gem with a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of seating. Their Great Mac n Cheese Burger and Chicken Fried Bacon are fantastic. The kids' menu offers quality options. A must-visit for delicious food in a relaxing setting.

We ate here last Friday. I ordered Smokin Burger with smoked cheddar and crispy onions on top. It was great! My husband enjoyed his tender, juicy Grilled Chicken. Our son, who was there with his high school's Jazz Band friends, said his Giant Mac Burger was amazing! A place to eat on your first visit to Stephenville. The restaurant is also dog-friendly. Our dog Snoopy sat under the table the whole time we were there. But I think the waitress didn't see him, so she offered no water. We didn't ask for water, too, as he just drank a lot of water at the parking.

I live the goat! The food is great. We come bavk as much as we can. The mama's mac n cheese has brisket in it. The pinto beans hit the spot with a little heat and alot of smokey flavor. I like the grilled zucchini and squash that is slighly salted. Yummy!

A great family friendly place. They have a playground for the kids while the adults socialize. The food is delicious 😋 and very reasonable priced. I really enjoy the atmosphere and great friendly service. 😊 Try it out and this would become one of your family's favorite spots. 😍

What a great venue for anyone and everyone. For kids...a play area, for large groups...an inside and outside dining area, Intimate dining for two with a bar and great food and sports on the televisions. Close to town but not right in the thick of traffic! Quick and friendly waitstaff too. Had the squealer tonight. If you're a meat lover, it's all you can handle for under 20! Delish!
