Beautiful park. The water was a bit stagnant, but the park has nice bike/ walking trails as well as tennis courts, playground, and very nice swimming pool.

Bosque river is not a river, I would call it a creek. If you're looking for a nice place to walk, the ambience is good. It is not a fishing spot, unless you want to catch turtles.

This has got to be one of my favorite places to RV! The campsite is clean and right next to the beautiful walking/jogging/biking trail! The spots have water and electric hook up with an easy accessible dumping station. The rest of the park is a short walk across the bridge (crosses the Bosque River). Perfect place for the 4th of July as we were in the perfect place for the parade, lawn mower races, concert, and fireworks! Thank you Stephenville, for keeping such a beautiful and quiet park!

The Stephenville City Park is one of the very best city parks!!

It has several baseball fields used for summer programs for T-ball for little ones to adults for competitions. Several tennis courts are available and are handicapped accessible. Walking trails are asphalt and wheelchair handicapped accessible. Several playgrounds are very well designed, from easy for little children to larger ones with everything imaginable and climbable! Most are covered and have well groomed sand or shavings under foot for safety. They are handicapped accessible.

Many city and county-wide activities are scheduled including concerts, fairs with rides, and ball game contests. Bird watching, a skateboard center, and big covered picnic arenas with tables are available and accessible.

Picnic tables are placed along the trails, playgrounds, and camping areas. Many geese and ducks are available to help you fish along the river. Frisbee targets on a trail surround the park. RV and tent camping spaces are available with hook-ups. Drive-thru streets follow the walking trails along the river. A beautiful brick gazebo is available for events, perhaps a wedding, or ceremony, or celebration, and is wheelchair accessible.

I don't know the dog rules, other than leashes and picking up after them. We've seen several dogs there each time, on leash!

A public swimming pool is open in the summer, including swimming lessons. It has slides, floating animals for climbing and resting. A lazy river has floating tubes. Many certified life guards are always on duty. A first aid office is there for scrapes, and bumps, and bandages. Generous changing rooms include privacy stalls and restrooms. It is wheelchair accessible.

A beautiful and inclusive park with trees, trails, a fishing river, multiple playgrounds, and activity areas! Formal events and activities and impromptu activities are ongoing. Privacy and open areas are inviting. It is wheelchair handicapped accessible and open year around!

Been going to this park since moving to the Stephenville area in 1980. Actually was employed by SPARD ( Stephenville Parks And Recreation Department,) always have loved this place. Spent so much of my youth in this park. Made so many friends for life in and around this park. I'm 50 now. This park is a very beautiful place and a very formative part of my life for the last 43 years. Was glad to be there for my son's 11th birthday. Always free, accessible, park staff friendly and accommodating. Love this place. Bring bread😉feed the ducks🥰

Stayed in one of the rv spots. Was clean but a little noisy due to construction routing traffic nearby.

Both playgrounds are nicely maintained. I like the new playground for younger kids, it’s adaptive with lots of options for all ages and abilities.

We stopped there to eat dinner on the way home from a trip. We pulled to where we saw some picnic tables and amazingly there were 4 or so RV parking spots by the city park with power & water. It was very open and peaceful. Not sure how you rent the space, but it was super clean and peaceful.
