Pyro Penny's Fireworks

If you love to light fireworks or live to watch the displays, this is the place for you. It's awesome, crazy, risky, exhilarating and where you need to go to legally shoot off all those fireworks you buy for the Fourth of July!!

It's located on about 40 acres of unincorporated land within Dallas County and the owner, John, charges 30 bucks a car load for you to drive on his property and pop fireworks to your heart's content.

On site is ambulances, security and the officers from the sheriff's department for safety. If you didn't bring fireworks, they'll sell you some from their stand. Honestly, we've been going since 2014 and it feels like a war zone with the popping everywhere but frickin' awesome to see and fun.

Make sure you shower and shine with a relaxing shower after to clean up the ash that falls. But just try it. You can thank me later.

Fireworks are so expensive right now. We walked out of Alamo. Our regular spot was shut down. This place was cheaper but expect an hour in line. They do have snow cones to purchase for the kids and food as well. It was good vibes. Except the drunk lady constantly complaining behind us lol

A nice place to buy fireworks. Cheaper than most stands with the same quality of fireworks. They even have a place for you to enjoy setting them off. Great customer service also. One of mine was defective and they exchanged it for the same or something of equal value.

Love this place. The people are nice (ain't nothing wrong with being nice to a person FIRST as a customer). I didn't have much to pop fireworks but I had some of the best ones. But next year I'm planning better and saving a lot of money. A month before the 4th I'm buying a whole lot of fireworks.

If you want to buy good ones I suggest you NOT to buy them in the LAST MINUTE. If so then take a day off from work and come early when it opens and buy them. And on the day of the 4th or day before, best to come back to their land by 4pm or 5 to get the best spot and to chill, eat, and relax.

Palmers is fun I like how they are open in June and in July and you can get fireworks there it's awesome

10/10 will shop here again. Everyone here is just trying to have a good time. If you're on a budget they will accommodate 100% of the time. I spend $160 and it was well worth it. Kids loved it and I loved it.

I went to Palmer's based on customer reviews. They spot off. When I arrived it was very organized as to where you park. Also, the lines were short because the service is excellent. The prices are very reasonable very happy as much as I did for about a hundred bucks. I will be returning. Thank you Palmer's.

Great fireworks place. I buy here ever year. Love the buy here shoot here. Great family fun.

We go here every year for the 4th. Definitely try to come as early as possible if you want any hope of getting your car in and getting fireworks in a reasonable time frame. If you have small children you might want to leave early or park really far back- it gets really crazy close to the entrance and you might get hit with debris or get a minor burn if you’re not careful. Also it gets very loud which some kiddos might not like.

This place is great ! Went my second year with friends, but just a side note PLSSSS do not go to the restroom in the bushes LOL you will get poison ivy really bad, so just wait in line in the porta potties no matter how much you need to go 💀

Honestly just talk and be nice, most times you'll get a good deal on a bunch of stuff. BUT always REMEMBER to secure your stuff because you don't want your fireworks flying towards you, your car or others. If you can't find a brick to help, go find some old spent firework cakes and surround it, especially on the smaller cakes. But always remember be safe

Went there last night for the first time. 35 minute drive out of Dallas and very easy to get to. Friends and I have already made plans to come back for the next holiday. It said online $20 per car but we weren't charged. The other people shooting fireworks were a little disorderly but use common sense and don't bring in your nice vehicle. I parked about 75 yards from the shooting ground. Later in the evening some of the people that worked there brought out a large load and shot off some beautiful fireworks. Thanks for a new years to remember!

John is amazing! I did go a bit overboard this year as you can see hehe. It is 20- 40 bucks per car and more than worth it..you can buy here and shoot here. Or you can bring your own. Top notch. 2nd year in a row ive come here will continue to return.

Great year as always! *LOTS OF SPACE* You can park near a populated area or a more secluded one. With several lots your bound to find either or. We parked in a firework circle and even then we knew the dangers. We had fun!!! Yeah a couple artillery popped near us. But the visuals?!? Unique. We were tagged a bit by some but thats the experience. We had kids of varying ages and they were all excited and participating the whole time. Even when things got insane! **Fire Work Park** I'm sure some people wanna file some paperwork lol If people are shooting at you purposefully. Defend yo self. Other wise. Normally everything knocks over. And people are too slow to learn. Great place. The wait sucks. Buy early.

This place was amazing well worth it. My kids even loved it. You get to pop your own plus see amazing views of other people's firewfireworks. The people who work there were so n8ce and helpful. I believe I spoke to owner and he was also nice and helpful. I will come here again. Well worth the money. Coming for new years to buy.

There was a super long line, I had them get off and walk a bit up the road to the stands and they were back with our purchase in no time! We simply turned around and enjoyed our evening.
