It's a jail. Not the Hilton!

Not the place anyone wants to end up but I find them friendly when I’m doing a bond. They’ll let me know if the arrestee is still in central booking or the jail. If I’m central booking they will place him or her in a room so I can get the bond interview done to speed up the release process.

Not the worst jail I've ever been in. Actually it was pretty chill. I even had my own cell.

This is a jail not a vacation or hotel the staff was friendly I was here for a simple misdemeanor trespassing and it was scary and intimidating but staff helped me through the whole process I was out in less than 24 hours

No help from anyone. Police officers stole my husbands property a wallet, cash, credit cards, my husbands wedding ring and other jewelry. It's crazy you can't even trust the police anymore. They took our rent money and our livelihood.

Yeah I would like to know why my son was charged for a crime he didn't commit? And why the woman who came out of the apartment automatically with a taser threatening..my son and future Daughter in law was trying to explain what was going on..then this lady has the nerve to make a racist remark..then pulls out a gun..So why wasn't she arrested...? Please do explain..Think you people have things backwards at your department..cause in the state I'm in the lady would've been arrested..Now if she felt like there was a problem..Why not come outside if she just had the need to and ask is everything ok or call the police department? The crazy part about this...my son is the one who called for help and he's the one who gets arrested..Doesn't look good on your department..

worst experience of my life. they refuse medical care unless you are in the process of dying. they dont let women shower for 3 days and refuse them hygine during their cycle. i personally have been hurrassed about my gender and asked to show them my genitals just to prove i am a female, regardless of what my id, social security number and birth certificate tells them, not to mention that i have a females name, and body. i wish that everyone would know how bad living conditions are in del valle also. the building i was in 3 post A tank C the sinks have been stopped up February, and there is mold growing in the sink. The smell of sewage gases come up from the drains every day non stop. its unhealthy. they denied an asthmatic woman her inhaler and told her to deal with it if she has an asthma attack.. i hope the place gets shut down. there are so many lawsuites that could be filed right now as i type this. its mind blowing.

Be warned! If you receive a call from this number from a man with a heavy Indian accent, it is likely that it is related to a scam currently going around. I was referred to by my full legal name and told that I have a case where I am involved. I asked for the person's identification and he told me "Alex Morgan" and gave me the address "5555 Airport Blvd". Both of which are probably covers. He would not repeat what the case was about (he mumbled it in the beginning) and redirected me to his "supervisor". Before the supervisor could speak, I asked for identification and asked what the case was about. He immediately hung up. I called back and the secretary and the Travis Country Central Booking answered. I described the situation and she told me that a scammer has been able to duplicate their phone number and I have nothing to be worried about. If you receive a call from this number, ask questions!

Terrible food, uncomfortable beds, and the thermostat is controlled by people who don't even work in the building so it's always either a freezer or sweltering hot. Crime doesn't pay.
