Small taco shop with the essentials. Ample flavorful food for the price. I had the chicken burrito and recommend it. Space is suitable for small groups.

The further south you go in TX the better the tacos and I'm from south TX so when I moved to DFW I struggling to find a decent place and tried Elena's and I was beyond happy with them! Their place is small and friendly and like a mom and pop shop place. Their food is great and affordable!! Their service is great, they're very friendly and kind. I believe it's a family establishment and has that family vibe and setting! They made a regular customer out of me and I no longer have to search for great authentic Mexican food now!

Open for 31 years but I just discovered. Wonderful breakfast, wonderful people. A worthy add to your Carrollton go to. The breakfast burrito is huge, usually a turn off. But this one is fresh and amazing.

Was craving breakfast tacos and saw this spot was rated 4.7 which is almost unheard of. It is a hole in the wall, great and friendly service and food came quickly. I ordered jamaica, chorizo and egg, and machacado tacos with chips and salsa. The salsas were fresh and had a nice kick - best I’ve had in a while. Thank you, I’ll be back!

Most authentic Taqueria/ Mexican Restaurant in all of Farmer Branch. Great service, amazing food. I would recommend Elenas Taqueria to anyone. Home made Salsas. Everything from the Agua de Jamica to the beans was amazing.

Favorite place in the area for a quick, delicious, and affordable breakfast. Grew up just down the road from here and have somehow not noticed the place until the last few months.

The salsa verde on the breakfast tacos is on point and I'm a big fan of the refried beans. Portions are also generous and breakfast tacos are under $2 before 10am. Seriously just such a great place.

Absolutely amazing!! First and foremost the staff was extremely kind, inviting, and attentive. The food was absolutely fantastic and the salsas were out of this world. with each Taco only costing $1.50 I have no idea how you could spend your money any better on a Saturday morning! I will definitely be back!

Home of the El Jefe aka Taco Jef. We go out of our way to get back to Elena's and have truly great Mexican food. Usually, some chips and salsa, some El Jefe's, Taco Freddies, maybe a gordita, and of Elena's enchiladas. We always take extra chips and salsa home with us to make the feeling last.

My husband who works in Farmers Branch found this amazing place. We live east of Dallas in Kaufman and will drive over an hour to eat here!!!! Thank you for always being so good. The atmosphere and food are AMAZING

We come here every 2 to 3 days in the morning for breakfast tacos. Always friendly and good food.

I’m Mexican and this place it’s great and authentic! If you are looking for a nice homemade taste and authentic Mexican almuerzo you should come here. We got chilaquiles and machacado tacos. Really really great place!

7 table family owned restaurant, serves some of the freshest meats for tacos in town. The owner, Elena, will personally welcome you to her small corner offering a true taste of Mexico, its food, its culture, its roots. The music, the food, the homey feel, is that of grandmother's kitchen.
Always judge a taqueria by its green sauce, as rule of thumb, Elena's didn't disappoint.

Small family owned Mexican restaurant with excellent food. The family was very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The chips and salsa were good too. The place was small and charming. The only down side was it needs new ceiling tiles, other than that the place was very clean.

By far the best breakfast burrito I have had since I moved to Texas 4yrs ago plenty of eggs potatoes cheese and meat and it's Huge!!
