Burger Theory

Ive been going to this restaurant for 5 years now, and things have definitely changed for the better! The food is great, and the staff is amazing. It’s slow during the day, so no problem getting a table for a dozen people without notice or calling ahead. And at night it can be hopping pretty good at the bar due to the hotel crowd.

Kalena has been an amazing manager, and the bartender Jen is great as well!

The great American Burger! I can't go wrong... right? Well, stopping here for the Burgers was everything I hoped for! Some of the options were, especially burgers, however they do have a build your own if needed. Saying that the burger I ordered was absolutely outstanding. Every bite was delicious and flavorful! The show stoper was the onion rings...... out of this world, good and super crunchy! Worth the stop!

The food and service were excellent! I also enjoyed my once a year cocktail. The bartender had a good vibe also. She made suggestions for food when i asked. She definitely knows her way around the menu. 1 will return in the future.

The chicken alfredo was the best in town! The burger was amazing! Great customer service and laid back atmosphere! We recommend this place to all Joliet tourists and will definitely be back!

This restaurant always has the best playlist and amazing service! One of the few places that have gluten free burger options that actually taste delicious! The waiters and waitresses always greet you with a welcoming smile! Today our server was Pinkyrose she was very sweet and even remembered our order from our previous visit. Personally I love when people are personable! If you are in the Joliet area or staying at the hotel this is a must try.

Had a pleasant Fri night dinner. My wife and I each had a cheeseburger, I also had an Old Fashion. A simple meal, but very enjoyable. Not very crowded, so it felt relaxed, and our server Pinky Rose was very attentive. We were not hotel guests, just trying out a new (to us) place in the area. We will return.

Fish tacos have amazing flavors!! Cobb salad tastes like the greens were picked fresh today!! Fantastic selection of craft beer on tap!!

My son and I were traveling to Michigan on our way from St Louis! We saw the blue highway sign that shouted the name “BURGER THEORY”. We are always up to try a new burger but what is this “Theory”?? 😁

On our way home from Michigan, we plugged Burger Theory Joliet, IL in on GPS and so glad we did!!

Build your own burger….”What??” We both ordered a double, bacon, egg & cheese burger 🥓🥚🧀 🍔with fries 🍟 ! Let me tell you, they were amazing!! One of the BEST burgers we’ve ever had!! Ordered wings as an appetizer and they were awesome!! Sweet tea was on point too!

We had to meet the burger chef! Tyrone came out and he was very thankful that we enjoyed it! We chatted for a bit and thanked our server(who is also the manager Gewan)! What a GREAT experience with INCREDIBLE food!

Gewan told us that Burger Theory actually uses a 3 meat blend for their signature burgers! Different and VERY tasty!!

If you’re in the Joliet area, give them a try!! They are in the Holiday Inn Joliet!

I was passing through Joliet with my mom and we stopped at Burger Theory for dinner. Our waitress Amanda was _great_. Amanda helped my mom choose a cocktail; which she absolutely loved.

The food (Nashville Hot Chicken for me and Chicken Fingers for mom) took a little bit long to come out However, the food was well worth the wait; which is why I didn't lower the rating by a star.

If you're ever passing through Joliet, I would recommend stopping at Burger Theory.

The atmosphere was great from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Shawna and seated immediately. She went through the menu with me and gave me the perfect recommendation of what to order and it was perfect. I never had to ask for anything, she was right there to make sure everything was great from napkins to refills. I hope she’s on duty every time I’m in town because the service was spectacular ( Luther Ellis.)

Stopped in for appetizers and drinks. The eggrolls were fabulous as was our bartender Jennifer! She made an amazing BT Old Fashioned. Probably the best I have ever had!! Recommend people to stop in when she is working. She has great beer recommendations from the many craft beer choices they have there. Definitely will be stopping by again.

We've been to Burger Theory a number of times, but it's the event we held in May 2023 that was the highlight. The restaurant has a spacious room for private events, and they provided us with great food and service. It was also affordable, and the manager was always available to answer questions. Thank you Burger Theory for making our event wonderful!

Started our evening with an Old Fashioned, which was one of the best I've ever had. Kudos to the bartender, Jen! We shared the crispy fish sandwich and bourbon glazed wings. Bith were delicious. Our server, Shawna, was fantastic -- friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

I love this place , a friend of mine was a cook here , everytime me & the wife stopped by the staff was so nice , the ambiance is great & the food is very delicious , a few months ago they had blossoms which is a dep friend onion my wife loved them. I'd highly recommend everyone to stop by

Shawna was amazing! Both her and the hostess were very helpful when it came to the menu. We were seated and greeted right away, would definitely come back again. Very nice employees.

Convenient option as we stayed in the hotel. Shawna steered us toward awesome menu items - crispy fish sandwich and bourbon glazed wings. Both were delicious. Bartender Jen makes a serious old fashioned. Great service and food.

There's nothing like a really good burger! This spot is located inside of the Holiday inn. The burgers are made with high quality meat and made however you want. Hot, juicy and simple burger prefection. This is one of the best burger spots! However, on another occasion I ordered a Cobb salad to go on my lunch break and unfortunately w as sent impressed and I felt it was over priced for what I received but I guess that's what I get for ordering a salad at a burger joint! Okay enough talking about salads...back to the BURGERS! I had the classic cheeseburger with mushrooms and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg. I don't recall how much the burgers were but whatever the cost it was worth every penny! Don't let this hidden treasure stay hidden for long!

Very good, especially for a hotel restaurant. Burgers are great, beer is cold and service is top notch.

The bartender Makaya was absolutely fantastic 👌🏽. She made me a Woodford mule that was so tasty 😋. She was informative about the menu selections and the food was great. I has a burger that was almost too big to finish. My onion rings were a little overcooked but they too were still delicious. She stated that people from the area do not know about this place. Conveniently so it's located in a hotel but it was definitely a great Joliet experience. I would definitely recommend 9/10! And because I travel here often for work I will be back again!

Found this place when we booked the hotel to stop halfway while driving to visit our oldest son. We now stay at the hotel because of it! Great burgers, appetizers and, on our most recent stop, Shawna made sure we had a great meal and a great time!
