Recess Arcade Bar

I went on a Saturday night; many arcade games, four pinball. They had a drinks-included (with play of games) incentive.
The music was bumping
The bartender was awesome

This place is super fun! We loved the arcade games and the boomerang air hockey was great. We did not get drinks here though. They also have large jenga blocks but they are pretty dirty and I got a splinter from one and it got infected so I would stay away from that.

This bar was amazing. We stumbled on it while exploring the city one night. The drinks were great, games were fun, and the pinball machines seemed to be kept up well! It was a great night!

This place is awesome! The games are a bit pricey and some need repair but it's still so much fun. You should check this place out!

Great Service! Don't remember much about the night. I do remember Willy helping out my friend the best he could while closing up. SHOUT OUT TO WILLY!

Wow just wow! This place is amazing! Josh was the best bartender that I’ve ever had. He was on his game and helped me and all of my girls. We had the best time and we plan on coming back to see our favorite bartender!

Is it a super clean bar? Not really. Were the drinks very big? Not especially. But is it a ton of fun to take a break out of your 6th Street crawl to play skee ball, basketball, and Pac-Man? HELL yeah. We had a great time here. I'd recommend it for sure.

I think the best part about going to any arcade in Austin is the arcade!! The only quip I have is that it costs a lot of quarters to play one game. Drinks are pretty cheap and a lot of places including this one offer live music. Definitely a fun place to go with friends after work!

This place is awesome! From retro video games to more modern games, there's a little something for every adult who's a kid at heart. Great prices. Great music. Great place to have a ton of fun. Will definitely check them out again when I'm in the area.

Went to this place by myself and had tons of fun. Bartenders and visitor were really friendly! Really cheap alcohol compared to what I am accustome to having lived in Las Vegas. There were pool tables and lots of arcade games. Made new friends here! Will come back again when I am in Austin.

Contemporary music. Wide open space. Great crowd. TV screens showing your favorite sports but don't expect to see a whole lot of arcade games.
They also have live music, don't sell food but you can bring your food have some drinks and listen to the music.

So many games! This place has a great selection; from arcade games, to a huge screen for Pacman, to Jenga, to Mario Kart. A lot of the games have credit card scanners so don't worry if you didn't bring cash. The drinks and service are great there too.

Stopped by during the day on the hot Sunday. Fun games! ATM on site, change machine, old school vintage style arcade section in the back. New, flashy games in the front. Shoot some hoops, race some friends in Mario kart, then take someone on in street fighter

This place was great the staff there were really friendly and the games there were really fun. Me and my family went up to austin for a vist and my uncle recommended this place to us along with some other places. But, when i walked in i thought i died and went to a gamers heaven. There were so many different games for me and my family and tha fact that there were drinks makes it better

Had so much fun here! I love the old school feel of the arcade mixed with a bar! Afraid you drank to much? No worries! They have a breathalyzer on the wall to check your BAC! How awesome is that!?

Old school video games and nice liquor selection...

First time trying this place out. Love the arcade feel. Wish there was some more updated games and maybe a clearer place to get quarters to play. But overall vibe is cool and very reminiscent of an old school arcade. Awesome! [=

This is the place to be on 6th street besides the awesome drinks and ambiance. The bartenders are honest. I left my debit card there and not only were they quick to respond to look for it. They found it and contact me back and returned it.

This place is a lot of fun to bring a date and just fun and general expected spend a good amount of money on the games a lot of the games are set up to play a certain amount of times. But overall I would definitely recommend this to anybody visit in Austin
