Nuttall's Sewing Centers

Went in to get my sewing machine looked at. It wasn't working right. They looked at it right then and cleaned it up blowing dust and oiling it and doing a few adjustments. Now it works great! Didn't charge me anything! Great fast work! Now I have a sewing machine that is working great!

Took my machine in for repair today. Emily met me at the door, carried my machine to her table and went to work. She was so quick, personable and knowledgeable. She solved the problem in less than fifteen minutes, loaded it up, carried it to my car and buckled it in with the seatbelt! Best service ever. Thank you. Thank you.

I needed help threading my serger, because of recent hand surgery I couldn't do myself. They were so wonderful to help. After getting it threaded she tested it and adjusted the tension. All the employees were so helpful. I will definitely be back for sewing projects

Everything was neatly stocked and displayed with knowledgeable friendly store workers and great fabric and lots of sewing machines and embroidery tools and thread.

This place is amazing and beautiful and organized! But what makes it really special are the people. Emily helped me out of a serious jam when my embroidery machine gave me problems. She fixed my machine, it was pretty complicated but she figured it out. Then she finished my project so that I would have it done in time. She was skilled and calm and so kind. Thank you so much Emily and Nuttalls!

I feel I could go on and on about the stories that have happened at Nuttall's. While I have felt it's been touch a go for me throughout the years, the last month really put me on edge.

I had to bring my machine in to get serviced. Something that I thought was a quick fix. It turned out to take 30 days for the repair, and sent back THREE different times. I think we were all frustrated with the problems.

Today when I went to pick up my machine, I cannot tell you how incredible each and every person was at the store. Eric went BEYOND what he needed and helped me so much. He talked me through everything that was wrong, what would need to happen, and how to prevent it in the future. I actually left crying today because I felt appreciated, seen and cared for. I am very grateful for Nuttalls.

I took my machine in expecting a two week turn around. Eric was awesome. He was able to fix in a short timeframe on the spot. He was very thorough and made sure it was properly working before I left. Was not expecting this effort today. Would highly recommend. Also the classes being taught while I waited were very informative. I will sign up for the class explaining my machine! 10/10 recommendation

I received an embroidery machine as a gift and had very little understanding of my machine. It has an issue and I was super frightened about bringing it somewhere to have someone take advantage of my ignorance and make me pay for maintenance that was unnecessary. I went in today and Annette helped me with kindness and understanding. She helped me figure out what was the problem and then proceeded to answer every question I had with such grace. And I asked A LOT of questions. I would come here again 100%! They will be honest with you if an issue with your machine is something that needs to be actually fixed, or if it is a simple change. Having knowledgeable staff absolutely sets this shop apart!

Love this place, professional and personable. So fun to create beautiful and meaningful quilts and other fabric projects with such great friends (Nuttall's employees & their customers). They are dedicated, patient teachers. Smiles and laughter abide within--as well as encouragement, informative and happy to assist their customers any way they can in the arts & crafts fabric world.

I borrowed a sewing machine from my Mom to do a project and something went wrong with the machine. I set everything up again to see and it still did not work. I thought I had broke the machine. I called to see if I needed an appointment they where very prompt to answer and very polite on the phone. I brought the machine in expecting to leave it. They took the time looked at it right then. He fixed the problem gave me suggestions and help. Very pleased with the the service. I would recommend any one needing sewing machine repairs or sewing supplies to go there!

Eric fixed the tension on my brother sewing machine for free! Their staff there are so kind and helpful. And I was super surprised at how many colors of minky fabric they offer! I looked forward to my future visits in their store :)

I needed either to get my White sewing machine fixed or get a new sewing machine. I went to our local sewing/craft store (Mom's Crafts) and asked if they had any recommendations. Amanda told us to, "Go to Nuttall's; they are the best". She was CORRECT! I was greeted by Diane, and another tall young woman, and they sent me to work with Sarah! Sarah is the BEST! She found out the trouble with my sewing machine, fixed it, cleaned it, oiled it and sent me on my way. I would recommend this company - and especially this store to ANYONE! I left with leaky eyes that my FAVORITE MACHINE that I have had for about 35 years, was working like new again. (All you sewing veterans will understand such deep emotions!) Thank you Nuttall's and thank you Sarah, Diane and the tall woman whose name I have forgotten. Hugs! <3

I highly recommend Nuttal’s. They have the best selection of fabric out of any other fabric stores close by. I went to 3 different stores looking for specific fabric and could only find what I was looking for here.

Today I went there because I was having tension issues with my Bernina. My husband and I spent hours trying to fix it with no luck. I took it in (without an appointment) and their owner had it fixed in a couple minutes. I couldn’t believe it! He was very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store.

Amazing customer service! Rosa kindly sat down with me immediately to troubleshoot and had the machine fixed in 10 minutes. I asked how much it would be and she said "Nothing, we don't charge to troubleshoot." I was shocked! I will come here for all of my sewing machine needs and refer everyone I know to this gem.

I needed some help concerning my machine that didn't seem to be working properly. Rosa took my machine and began to trouble shoot my problems. Within a few minutes, she had it running smoothly. Rosa explained how to avoid future problems and answered all my questions. Nuttall's great service was appreciated!

Sara has been great! Our Brother Dream Machine needs a little help every few months as it is used several hours a day 6 days a week. More than half of the time, Sara can do the adjustment and we are back using it. When it needs to go for repair, we call it "the spa", she takes care of detailing our issues so when it is returned from Riverton (the spa) the issues are fixed. We really enjoy Sara's enthusiasm for the art.
We signed up for a class on the day of the class and the teacher had been told the day before that the class was canceled. Sara called the teacher to come in and while we waited, she helped us pick out the fabric for the project and, as we changed our minds, was patient with us until we got what we thought was perfect.

Rosa was amazing in helping me figure out what was wrong with my Brother sewing machine! I am new to the sewing world and there were a few things off (some my fault) and she was able to get it up and running in a matter of minutes! Never once did she make me feel stupid for the mistakes I made. Thank you!! I will be sure to come back here for my sewing needs.

I was so frustrated with a problem I was having with my Singer serger (a brand they don't even sell) and Rosa quickly and thoroughly helped me out. They do machine troubleshooting for FREE and I couldn't be happier with their service.

So after going to the Murray store and getting very little help, I decided to just check what the PG store had in stock and I was blown away by how helpful they were. I wanted to buy a new serger and I probably spent two hours talking to the wonderful ladies over machines. They unboxed a machine for me, guided me through threading it, let me try it on all different fabrics, and THEN still encouraged me to try the cheaper machine I'd come in to look at because they said it's hard to tell what you like unless you try it out. They also taught me how to use a double needle on my regular sewing machine, and talked me through accessories for my 50 year old Bernina that I didn't even think were available because I couldn't figure out the right ones online. All week I've been sewing on my new serger and using techniques I learned from these wonderful ladies (I know one was Sarah, but I can't remember the other's name, and I wish I could remember, because she was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable and patient with all my questions! I loved her! It may have been Krisann? She was from Texas and she was awesome.) I absolutely would have just bought a machine online after my ho hum experience at the Murray store, but I left PG feeling so comfortable with my choice and sure that there were people who could help me if I had any trouble, and I'm positive I've had fewer problems getting set up on my new machine because they helped me figure it all out. It was an absolutely great experience, and I look forward to taking some of my included serger classes when they start up again!
