Ricky plumbing is one of the few very honest and affordable plumbing companies I have ever seen around today and I've seen and used a lot of other companies.I have used Ricky plumbing on many jobs for customers of mine that have just had major damages caused by a pipe burst or leaking sink and let me tell you they have a very fast response time of usually arriving within an Hour when called upon and have taken great care and pride in making sure all their customers and my needs were handled! I will continue to refer Ricky plumbing to any one that is in a time of need. Thank you guys and gals for every thing you do and keep up the great work!

The staff from the point of requesting service to completion was exceptional. I am so disappointed for using a big name prior to using Ricky Plumbing. The bid I received from Ricky Plumbing was competitive, and the technician onsite was very professional. I plan on using them for future maintenance. We are new homeowner's, and a water leak was found while we were on vacation. After having reported the leak they were prompt about having a technician visit my home, and the repairs were made the same day. Finding them was a blessing. I hope this review inclines others to use their services. My husband and I highly recommend them.

Ricky Plumbing replaced our gas line in the backyard that was leaking. Gas line was under our concrete patio, so it required a lot of work to remove it and then install the new line. They were prompt and very professional. We have used them before and would use them for any future job.

Muy buena compania de plomería. Los técnicos que me mandaron hablaban español y me explicaron los problemas con mucho detalle. Los recomiendo y los volveré a llamar

Professional. On time. HOWEVER, I chose this company based off the reviews on the website. They said they were affordable and great. Affordable is NOT TRUE. on the phone the woman told me it would be $165 for the first hour, and $82 for each additional hour. We were not aware that the time we signed off on the form consenting the work to be done was the beginning of the meter. SO, the 45 minutes the men took to go buy the replacement parts is considered "labor". And we find out after the fact. On top of, of course paying for the replacement parts. I wish I read yelp and Google reviews BEFORE scheduling with them based off of the website. The work to exchange a shower filter and one other part. I think took way too long. So we were without water from 1230 to just after 4 pm.

When I hired Ricky plumbing it was because they advertised remodeling, new construction and service work with the motto “get it right the first time…“ I asked for an estimate to remove my front tub panel to install a deck mount faucet on my garden tub. When the technician was removing the front panel, he broke it. Because it was a clean break, I offered to let him piece it together with silicone caulk. When he was finished I told him that the caulk job was unacceptable (after photo) and that I would call the office. At that time, he stated that this was not his area of expertise. I went ahead and paid him because he had worked all day. When I called them, they told me that it was not their policy to remove the front panel??? That’s what I called and got an estimate for! They sent the technician back to remove the caulk but that they could do nothing else. It took over two months for them to finally allow me to communicate with the owner in which he told me that because I signed the invoice that I was satisfied with the work, they could not do anything more. So now I’m left with a panel taped to the front of my garden tub. I am very disappointed with their service.

After several quotes I selected Ricky Plumbing to do a sewer tap at my property. The Sewer Tap was for a sewer tap 16’ below grade along the shore side of my property. The job was started December 1, 2021 and after digging 10’ the job was stopped two days later. Ricky Plumbing moved their equipment and started another job for reasons unknown to me. After much back forth with Beatrice(supervisor) and Robert(estimator) a change order they provided charged me a fee for returning the equipment back to my property and increased the total cost to more than double the original quote. They also could not return and complete the job till December 21, 2021. They left me with a 10’ hole right by the street and I was now receiving calls from the MUD district asking when the work would be completed. This was unacceptable and unsafe. I referred to the quotes I had obtained from other contractors and found a contractor that was willing to proceed and complete the remainder of the job; it was completed in 6 hours. I would not recommend Ricky Plumbing. See Photos below

Plumber didn’t know what he was doing. I had to tell him the steps on how to replace faucet cartridge and even then he was unable to complete the job. After over an hour of accomplishing absolutely nothing (they charge by the hour) and I asked him to leave. He was glad to charge me $165 for actually making the leak worst. Would highly recommend to find another option! He didn’t replace the cartridges because he had no idea how to do it, that’s the whole issue...

Will not use again. Long story short, hired them to install the gas plumbing on my outside grill after remodeling, when they got here they said my old hose was still good and i paid them to reconnect it. They said my old grill was leaking gas but once the new one was installed it should be fine. When i was able to install the new grill it was clear that what was a gas leak and it wasn’t from the old grill like they said. The gas leak was from the hose they said it was ok to install. After almost a week of trying to speak to management, they came by and said the problem was the hose (that they installed) and said i needed to install a new hose. But to my surprise they told me i had to pay for the full service again. They do a very poor job and then come back and charge you again for it. Would not recommend to ANYBODY.

Response:

I do not know what your technician informed you but the statement of fact you are describing it is fairly different then what happened. First, you are correct the new fire place was to small for the space. But that just about the only correct statement of your response. I had a company come before to assemble the new grill they had absolutely nothing to do with plumbing. That company assembled and told me everything was good to connect. When your representatives arrived here i told him I needed the gas line reconnected to gad outlet and connected to the new grill. I showed him the old hose and asked if i needed a new one. He told me he would check and let me know. After reconnecting the old hose to the the gas outlet he ran tests in the hose and told me it was ok that i did not need a new hose. Only then we went on to put the new grill. When we realized it did not fit. Therefore, i asked him to please just reconnected the hose to the outlet and reconnect to the old grill. He did reconnected the old one and went on to explain how easily it will be for me to replace for the new one once the necessaries adjustment had been made. When he turned on the old grill i immediately told him, hey i think there is a leak, he went on to inspect the line and the grill and blamed it on the old grill. Said the old grill was not holding gas and that once we put the new grill in place it would all be good. I found it odd because i hadn’t had that problem before. But to be fair i hadn’t use the grill in several months. But here is were lies the problem, when we connected the new grill we realized the leak was not on the grill as explained by the plumber but instead on the hose that he had installed. And since they mentioned the invoice in their kind response, let me address it. it is correct they wrote “ turn off gas valve since GRILL not able yo hold pressure”. NOT THE HOSE. But reminds me, please read very very well anything they ask you yo sign, because when the technician came here again today and was afraid to mumble two words because he knew he had done it wrong, he asked me to sign an authorization of work charging me 225 for the service call and 145 for any additional hour even thought i had already spoke to management and they had told me 99usd plus material for then to come and fix what they installed wrong on the first place (which was already an absurd, i was always ok to cover any material but was a firm believer that the right thing for then to do was come and correct their mistake). I appreciate management willingness to want to further discuss, but unless you guys have any different posture/solution towards this i think is best we cease communication and let this whole bad experience behind.

When I hired Ricky Plumbing it was on Time and Materials basis to relocate about 30 feet of 1 inch gas line in my attic, a job their technician estimated would take 3-4 hours.
7.5 hours later and after a hole in my ceiling due to their technician dropping a tool in the attic shortly after getting started, I receive my bill. Imagine my surprise that after Ricky Plumbing offered to discount my bill for $150 due to the damage caused by their techs, that I see over $200.00 in materials. I spoke to their site lead who said he had to purchase 20 feet of pipe and a couple fittings. (Please note that this pipe can be purchased in 10 foot sections for just under 25 dollars.) After asking for a receipt for the materials, the tech promptly left and said I could take that up with the office. Needless to say that this company obviously extended their time on site and grossly marked up their materials to cover their losses for the damage they created. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
