BOO-LICIOUS! First but definitely won't be the last time dining here. Food was delicious. Seasoned well, cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Plenty of parking. You can dine downstairs or upstairs-where the bar is located via the stairs or elevator.

The food was great. I ordered the seafood platter. It was a lot of food but very tasty.
Could feed up 3 people Off of the platter I ordered, the ambience of the facility was giving more fast food than find dining. The bar was located upstairs. There was plenty of parking and it was free. Service was good not great they did their jobs.

Our server, Kat, was nothing short of perfect. She was attentive, friendly, and genuine. From the moment we sat down she made us feel not only welcome, but wanted. She was spot on with her recommendations and was quick to bring us anything we needed and asked for. As for the food, it was a religious experience. Everything was seasoned just right, cooked just right, and tasted authentic to true cajun roots. The fried alligator came highly recommended and rightfully so. The tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Both fried shrimp and the shrimp Alfredo were 10/10. It’s great to be able to find a genuine Cajun atmosphere in the DFW area all for under $50.

This visit was our first time at Boo-Rays and we love Cajun Cuisine, so we tried all of our Cajun favorites! It was amazing because the batter on the fried food was light and seasoned just right! The seafood was fresh and the rice based items were delicious! It was pretty busy when we went but our server Destiny was awesome and very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions and requests! We will be returning weekly for the specials! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. The food is so flavorful and scrumptious. They have a nice Happy Hour and the drinks go down smooth. I go here 2-3 times a month to get my fix of cajun delicacies.

Triss is the best server I've ever had! Out of all the things I tried here the gumbo catfish and red beans and rice are so good! Don't forget about bread pudding for desert! Next time I'm trying the chicken and asking for Triss!

Been looking for an amazing New Orleans inspired restaurant and came here with a very dear friend of mine and we had the Boudin, Alligator Platter, glass of Cupcake Moscato and it was amazing. Such amazing flavors, savory and delicious will be back soon. Service was phenomenal and top notch. Special thanks to the entire staff. Amazing and so filling. Took home the leftovers and have lunch for morrow.

Oziel is the BEST! He was so fun and welcoming and took great care of us. He made my family’s night. I will definitely be asking for him when we go back!

I've been patronizing the Boo-Rays of New Orleans in DFW since around 2006 because it's been the best truly New Orleans style food I've found since relocating to the area. There are a few restaurants sprinkled across the area, so you just have to ask Google which is closest to you and you won't be disappointed!! One of my favorite dishes to order is an off menu item called the Half Seafood Platter which comes with a filet of fried catfish, gator, oyster, shrimp, crawfish tails, a hush puppy and two sides!! I was able to substitute two items that I just won't eat, even being from New Orleans!! If you go there with someone, don't order two Half Seafood Platters, order the on menu item Seafood Platter because it will save you money!! And they have bread pudding!! That's a slice that I shared!! Don't forget to bring an appetite!!

This place was a hidden gem 💎 and I'm in this area frequently and never knew it was here. This was my 1st time here and the experience was great! Staff was super friendly and atmosphere was laid back, clean, with New Orleans scenery. We ordered the jalapeño catfish & fried catfish with swamp fries appetizers. And to finish the evening we had the voodoo punch along with raspberry bubbles both were really good 👍 . Definitely plan on going back.

We were seated quickly and our food was very good. I had Grilled Redfish with Bucktown Sauce and Grilled Asparagus Spears. My wife enjoyed her Blackened Tilapia with Crawfish Cream Sauce. We will come back and try some more dishes soon!

My husband and I decided that we would go to this establishment and eat. We ordered their sampler as a starter. Let me tell you, that platter had enough food to feed about 5 people. Had we known how much it was, we probably would have ordered a smaller item. Of course, it was delicious. We each ordered separate entrees, and they were just as filling and delicious. If you are looking for authentic Cajun, born in Louisiana food, this is definitely the place to go. Take this from someone who was born and raised in Louisiana. I've been eating and cooking this kind of food all my life.

Service and food and atmosphere were quite splendid. The fondue was so delicious!!

The sampler appetizer came with fried gator and it was enormous and awesome. Had stuffed fillet with loaded mashed potatoes for entree but only made it half way through before I had to tap out. Just too full after appetizer. Food and service was great!

A year later still amazing food!! Alligator is amazing!!!

Oysters on the half shell $1 each what??? I'm in!

Excellent food... large portions... super friendly service ... crab and shrimp fondue is to die for!!! Jambalaya pasta...GET IT!!!

My favorite Cajun place to eat outside of New Orleans itself! Portions are good, and it tastes authentic! No chain restaurant atmosphere. Always have excellent servers. Sunday evenings half off appetizers and Gumbo/Chowder.

Our first time here , we had a party of 14 , and the waitress was so patient ! everything came out quickly .

DELICIOUS FOOD !!!! We will return !!

I didn't go, I was close to it so reviews picked it up as a location. But ......I've been many times and it's fantastic! A friend of mine, Faith Shipman, painted the beautiful murals that are inside and on the building outside.
