Marta was such a doll... the stylist there don't say much if you are not sitting in their chair and maybe because it was late or close to closing. But my hair looks and feels AMAZING!!! The lady who washed it was very good, that was everything... Marta can work some hair and has a beautiful voice! Will be back!🥰

I love this place and this was only my second time visiting. I had a bold spot on the top of my head not from GENETICS, BUT FROM NEGLIGENCE OF ANOTHER STYLIST IN HOUSTON! I have worked hard to get my bald spot to grow ( caused me 5 years of damage in one day made) and it has immensely! The STYLISTS there care and have helped in many was of my transition with this bald spot and my hair health altogether! My pics displays a 1000 words!

I just moved to the area and wanted to get my hair blown out and trimed. The ladies were very professional and really hard working. I was in and out in less than 3 hours and the salon was packed. I would recommend coming here.

Love the service and my hair is always bomb. I now have my niece, a friend and her daughter going here. Ralphlina I’m sure I’m not spelling her name right is my stylist love her.

I went to D’ Dominican Salon for the first time and they were very professional I was in there under 3 hours which is amazing because the salon was full and it was multiple clients in front of me. They were very nice I got an amazing shampoo and deep condition and my blow out trim and straightening was awesome Malu did great will be back!

This message below was posted by a person named “Charlie”….I’d like to add my two cents. I have been coming to Dominican Beaty Salon on a regular basis for over 5 years. I am African American (Black) with course, what we used to call think nappy hair. And No Mam, relaxer’s, nor any other types of chemicals have ever been used with or without my permission. The Service here is excellent and pricing in comparison to typical specialty AA Salons are by far cost savings. I would be interested in knowing, when did you realize a “chemical” was administered to your hair. What steps were taken, if any to bring your hair back to it’s natural state. I’d like to pose the same question to your Aunt. You have made very harsh unfounded allegations, borderline “Slander”. It’s hard to believe any stylists would relax your hair without consulting with you, their professional opinion and you give the OK to proceed with their recommendations. FYI - There are ethnic groups that can and will maintain our black hair, better than blacks themselves. Whatever lead to your disappointment, bashing and hating isn’t a kind act.

I haven’t had a perm in over 14 years. Someone at this shop on the right hand side permed my hair without my permission! My curl pattern is completely gone and my hair is severely damaged. I wouldn’t advise any BLACK woman that doesn’t perm her hair to visit this shop. THEY ARE LAZY. THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR HAIR and act like they don’t understand English when you ask them to show the products they’ve used in your hair! My aunt who frequents also experienced the same issue and had to go to another shop to revive her hair. I’m going to seek legal council because they are perming our hair without our permission. If you don’t like your job or your customers, please find another one and stop ruining our hair and taking the money we work hard for. I play about a lot of things but my hair is NOT one of them. We are taking this all the way to the BBB, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation & the Licensing Board of Cosmetology.

Came to D’Dominican Salon to get my hair straightened, it turned out great!! Great service and staff friendly! When I get a chance to come here I always leave with my hair looking so pretty

I love for Darian to do my hair! She's so nice! I know that people request Martha a lot. Janet is very good also. I recommended a few people to come here too. Everyone has had a good experience so far! I also bring my daughters here.

My daughter's hair had gotten so knotted up we could NOT get the rats out. I was at my wits end! D'Dominican salon to the rescue! It took 3 stylists over 5 hours, but they did it! The price was extremely reasonable! We will be back. I highly recommend this salon. Friendly staff and professional services. Thank you!

They did a GREAT job with my daughter's hair. We were a bit tight with the time we had and they worked within the time they said. She just took out braids that she had in for well over a month!!! We will definitely be going back!!!!

Best Dominican shop I’ve been to! Very fast pace but won’t disappoint.

OMGoodness! I’m so use to braids all the time but I knew it was time for a trim! I searched EVERYWHERE and I found them , plus they do walk ins. May I add they’re very reasonable. I will most definitely be returning once a month in between my hairstyles.

I received the keratin treatment, and my hair stayed silky smooth until I washed it about 10 days later. I still noticed the difference, in a very positive way. Less tangles and it's easier to manage. Came back 6 months later for another treatment. Added pictures to her site. Before and after is pics posted.

This was by far THE BEST salon I have been to. 2 days after my style, blowout and deep condition treatment, my style is still holding. The staff was very professional (I am not much of a talker and they respected that). My mixed hair is hard to deal with. I can only get what I need from the Dominican salon. This is the best Dominican salon I have ever been to. Thank you for great service, professionalism and truly exceptional care of my hair.

1st time, but want be my last. Martha knows what she's doing.
If you want healthy hair, run, don't walk and ask for Martha. I received a deep condition, ends clipped and a silk press. Felt like my grandma had me in her chair as a kid.
The salon was PACKED! They do not take appointments. Walk ins. So I advice you to go at the beginning of the week. Thursday-Sunday are very busy.

Rafelina was caring, professional & FAST! I have never had a blow out as effective and long lasting on my natural hair. Shampoo, condition, trim, and blow out in under an hour on my 3C/4A hair. Soft, straight, and easy to manage.

Janet did my hair, and when I tell you the amazing job she did is just fantastic!!!! Not to mention she does not deep cut your ends “only clean “ she is one of the best stylist. ❤
