Everyone is super nice and helpful. They are very much in to helping you find what you need or just letting you shop around inside the store.
I have always seen the employees treat everyone with the utmost of respect regardless of where you are from or how you look.
This is a rare gem where everyone’s money is the same color and they will treat you right because of it.
Stop here before you hit the big box stores. You might be glad that you did.

They've had what we've needed for our mower and for other things. They have helpful people available. This year we used the weed and feed stuff from there and it did way better than any we have ever used from the bigger stores. They've got lots of different fresh coffee beans to enjoy. They will ground them for you. I love the snickerdoodle coffee.

Elkins is the best hardware store in Tarrant County! We've had 2 homes in Saginaw and have used them for over a decade now the service is excellent, and they have alot of items that we've needed from water softener salt, to the exact brand and shade of wood stain we use! We love Elkins, Saginaw's HomeTown Store!

Used to go to another place on basswood. Changing to Elkins. WHY? Felt comfortable when I walked in the door, cleaner, better arrangement of product, needed help and did not feel as if I was a problem. Checkout was easy, friendly cashier. Maybe you should check them out.

The absolute greatest small town store in Saginaw. 50 year plaque is in the front for a reason!!! Always has the nicest crew and the store is well stocked.

I went in today to buy exterior paint (1st time!). I had the absolute best, friendly and informative customer service experience from Staff Layton and Weston! As a single female this was so important to me. I’ve driven pass this store for 16 years!! Not anymore! 💞

Employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. That's hard to find anywhere you go now-a-days. They don't have the selection the big box stores have, but I would rather spend my money with people who care about customer service!

Friendly staff , always eager to help with questions. I've been going for house hold fix accessories since 2001. Price is about same maybe little higher than big box stores, but quality of items is better. Recommend them to all Saginaw residents.

I went in to price a Big Green Egg. They were eager to help, but not in a pressured uncomfortable way. They were also kind enough to mention a sale they were going to have in a few months... I wouldnt hesitate to shop at this hometown hardware store. I certainly appreciated the feel of the store and the assistance I received.

Been doing business with them 26 years. Usually in there 2-3 times a week. Excellent service. I amazes me how they the nearly always have whatever I need. Competitive pricing. I do wish they were open Sunday when I do a lot of projects but that's not a huge inconvenience when I plan ahead. I am hugely disappointed they stopped carrying the premium dog food I have always bought there but I found a feed store a couple miles away that has it. They still get 5 Stars because I'm not gonna let 1 aww-shucks! wipe out 4,056 atta-boys!

Great place to find “hard to find” items and sizes. Obie was fantastic and really helped me find what I needed. He spent the time to make sure I found exactly what I needed and made sure it fit and I was happy before checking out.

I enjoy the smaller store and it usually has what I need. I even found coffee at this store. They have a good supply of grilling and camping items, yard decor, food for the birds and lawn maintenance. Elkins is a decent hardware store.

Elkins hardware is top notch on service. I've been in before with my sthl trimmer. All my questions were answer with great knowledge and kindliness. Today I went in with questions and problems with my mower and was greeted by many employees to help find my answer and the best solution. From now on this will be my stop for all my hardware and lawn service needs. Great service and friendly and good prices.

Brought my Toro mower in for a tune up and to have my belt and self propeled cable replaced. Although i could have done the work myself the pricing was fair and they did a fantastic job. Vic was very knowledgeable about not only my mower ,but also the other equipment i use both Echo and Stihl.
The store is well stocked with items that i usually need at competitive pricing. I much prefer to shop there than the big box stores. The staff is friendly and make you feel as if you are part of their family. Great place to shop.

Vic in the small engine department is fantastic. Brought my Stihl in and he had it running in less than 3 minutes. Great small business in Saginaw. I come here for all my hardware and lawn needs. Thanks guys!!!!

I'm always impressed with this place! It's convenient, well stocked & the modest price increase over the big box stores, is well worth shopping there! The staff is exceptional, friendly and accommodating!

Bought a miter box for 5.99USD. The tool selection blows away Walmart. So does the variety of wood stain. There is propane fill up here. (As opposed to exchange) Helpful and friendly staff.
