Grind Break Cafe

Wonderful cafe with great food and easily the best coffee and tea in the area. The staff and environment is warm and friendly, great place to take a break and relax or get work done. Good prices and usual monthly specials for drinks or even food.
Great arcade machine in the back to play on (and get beaten by the owner in 3rd Strike on). Not to mention the weekly fighting game meet up on Fridays.
Great for quality, healthier food options or just lovers of a good shot of espresso.
I'd recommend the cold brew or Americano for a great cup of coffee.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few weeks and I’m so happy we finally stopped in! This is the sweetest, cutest coffee shop that we have in the area. The drinks are an absolute treat, and they have a wide variety of flavor options if you want to add a little something extra to your drink :) The drinks are ready in a flash and the staff is so welcoming with smiles as soon as you walk in! So happy we found a local shop to support❤

Great place for a breakfast and coffee. The staff is very friendly . There are plenty of food choices. Good taste and excellent presentation. I would definitely go back there

Jungle buff on panini bread was awesome! Jade Oolong tea was great too. Cashier blew me away with his show of the restaurant. Very neat and edgy environment. They host video game tournaments

I'm a big sandwich guy and of course a coffee guy and neither disappointed me here! The coffee is great and the sandwiches fresh and tasty! The customer service is really good as well. Not to mention the unique selection of sodas! Will be coming back for sure.

Got the unstoppable force panino. With a cafe latte on the side. First time here. Food was delicious. Enjoyed my latte. Staff was really friendly. Jarob recommended helping me pick what I would want as a drink and food. 😁☕

My 4 yr old loved the banana and nutella bagel❤ the service is great, food is fresh and delicious. One of my favorite places to go and catch up with friends to.

My first visit to Grind Break today, I had the Rising Son bowl...it was delicious. Especially the bean salad. Highly recommend and will return!

Where might someone find a good café in the Humble area? Certain national café chains have their perks, but many lack good, distinctive flavor and atmosphere. Not so at Grind Break Cafe. The coffee was a delight at first taste! No sugar needed, though I added it. Come, enjoy, experience for yourself what a true café should be.

Clean all around, staff are friendly, coffee tastes great and what more would anyone want? Yet to try the food but this cafe would not dissappoint!

Place lives up to its high ratings. I ordered a lavender latte and it was delicious. Not overly sweet and you could appreciate the coffee taste. I ordered a sandwich and I was unexpectedly taken by how flavorful, healthy and warm it was. I highly recommend anyone in the humble area to make this their go to coffee stop.

Update: I wish this place was opened earlier 7-8am so I could get my morning coffee and breakfast instead of waiting close to lunch to get my coffee fix.

This place had high reviews! checked it out, very healthy very nutritious, great seasoning great coffee bar. Steven was great, he explained everything to us. very slowly, very interested, not bothered by our questions and the other girl was very good too! Excellent cabbage salad I got one to go. Great customer service. I will be back

I have been their several times and continually impressed by the food. Last time I went I got the Counter-Strike (Smaller than I expected but surprisingly kept a big guy like me filled until dinner) and it was delicious and to compliment it I got the Pineapple Punch and added Greek yogurt and it was fantastic. Also if you are looking for a sandwich that sounds weird but tastes amazing is the Rising Son. Great new Restaurant in the area, easily has my recommendation.

We stopped here on a Friday night and ordered two poke bowls (sunrise and salmon) and a sandwich (jungle buff). What brought us here was the limited takoyaki. Everything was delicious and worth taking the leftovers home.

The eating area is open, clean, and comfortable. The staff at the counter was super friendly and helpful. Music wasn't too loud and there was a lot of options for drinks if the food menu is relatively small.

Best overall coffee house I’ve been to in the northeast Houston area. Great staff. Alize was awesome, knew the menu, and was extremely helpful. The atmosphere is awesome and different. The menu is very robust, with coffees, teas, smoothies, ice cream, and natural sodas. The food is amazing. I definitely recommend this place!

The employees are do nice here. Drinks are delicious, sometimes can be a little too sweet. The power bowl is the best! Haven’t tried the other food options yet because I’m obsessed with the power bowl.

Super polite and friendly staff. I called twice before going up there asking about a certain food. Both people that answered were really nice. Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile. They answered all my questions and were not annoyed. Food was great, coffee was delicious and my Grandaughter loved her smoothie. WILL be back. Cute casual interior, clean restrooms.

Love this cafe! They have some amazing drink choices, and highly recommend their Golden Milk latte, Thai Cold Brew, and classic Cold Brew, all made in house. They have wi-fi so love camping out and enjoying their great food and drinks.

Outstanding experience. I worked in coffee many years and I can confirm this place nails all the requirements for an awesome place.

1. Customer service - Was outstanding from the second I walked through the door. I never felt like I was anywhere else other than a welcoming environment.

2. Coffee - Great options, some classic, some creative. The quality of my drink was good. The barista suggested a sweet option which is usually not my taste however it had two double shots of espresso and was great.

3. Food - Tried the "pizzadillas" and they were surprisingly incredibly good. Hands down my new goto option for quick lunch bites.

4. Seating - Ample indoor seating and outlets place in multiple areas for devices. The overall seating design offers multiple options ensuring that you can relax based on your preferences such as benches, tables with chairs that have full backs or sofa style loungers.

Bonus: They host esports viewing and game nights which you can find by following their facebook.

Double Bonus: Their soda fountain has Stubborn soda instead of traditional sodas. The quality and flavor of stubborn is OUTSTANDING and very hard to find especially in a fountain.
